This type of place is where you go to get a cheap plate of food, knowing it’s not going to be the best… imagine my surprise when the bill for one plate and a drink rang up to $20 bucks… and then the tip? No, I won’t be returning.
And I was right, the food was not at all good. The pictures make it look fantastic though.

Just left and posted immediately. Went in during dinner time, it wasnt too busy but it wasn’t empty. The service was good, that’s the only reason why, if I could, I wouldn’t put zero stars. We ordered 2 x 5 piece tacos/w frijoles, it’s a special. 1 x parrillada for one, and 2 x tortas. They brought the frijoles and they were cold. I didn’t mind so I asked for them to heat them up in the microwave. Then the food gets there fairly quickly, red flag. The rice on the parrillada plate was ice cold. The grilled onion, which is supposed to be hot since it’s “grilled”, was cold on all the plates that had it. I ate the only things that were hot which was the meat portion on the parrillada plate and left the rest. I took my tacos and tortas to go. I left very unsatisfied. It wasn’t busy for the food to arrive half cold and half hot. Seemed to me like the cooks were slacking off and they need better cooks. Like I said, the service was good, that’s the only reason I didn’t give, if I could, zero stars. This place has gone down, that’s why I stopped going, but I thought I would give it another chance. Nope. Never going again.

Prices are not bad and the food is good. For me, the first thing I ask, “Are the tortillas homemade”. They are (corn) They daily specials they have a a really good deal when you are on a budget! It is a hard to find hole I’m the wall place, so you know there is potential treasure there.
