Didn’t know this place existed until I was in the area working on areal estate deal. Went back for our anniversary dinner. It was nothing short of amazing, Nila our waitress was phenomenal and well acquainted with the menu. The food was spectacular and the live music was not overbearing and really good. I don’t know how it wasn’t packed on a Saturday (only 1 couple dined in while we were there). We will definitely be back.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our Valentine’s Day experience at Valeria Restaurant was extremely disappointing. We prepaid $400 through OpenTable for a 7:30 PM reservation ($160 per person plus a mandatory $64 gratuity). For that price, we expected a well-organized and special evening. We arrived 10 minutes early, only to be seated about 15 minutes after our reservation time and not even in the main dining room. Instead, we were placed at a lounge table in the bar area. After being seated, my wife and I waited over 20 minutes without a single server acknowledging us. No water, no greeting, nothing. Eventually, a waitress approached the table, and at that point I asked for a refund. To their credit, they agreed but even that process took another 15 minutes. By then, our Valentine’s dinner plans had been completely derailed. Thankfully, Cypress Grille was able to squeeze us in and completely saved our evening. For a $400 prepaid Valentine’s experience with mandatory gratuity included, the lack of organization, communication, and basic service was unacceptable. Extremely disappointing.

We dined here today (Oct.25th, 2025) for dinner after a 4+ hour drive to pick up my Mercedes that was at the Boerne dealership (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The overall experience was highly disappointing and does not justify the $120+ price point.

The food quality was subpar and was not worth the cost for it being a chef owned restaurant. You want high quality pizza, as well as great customer service, go to Stout’s Signature downtown San Antonio.

While the initial service was welcoming to my toddler, the experience upon returning was unacceptable. After we had left, I realized we had forgotten my toddler’s shoes under the table. When I walked back into the dining area to retrieve them, I overheard several staff members and a couple discussing my family and my child’s behavior.

Specifically, I heard a gentleman singing near the bar, some of the waitresses and a woman with her what seemed like new boyfriend at a nearby table engaging in a conversation where they openly criticized my toddler’s emotional outburst.

While I understand that a child’s momentary meltdown can be disruptive, it is completely unprofessional and unacceptable for restaurant staff to engage in, or encourage, conversations with other customers that openly mock or criticize another customer who has just left. This behavior demonstrates a profound lack of respect and professionalism.

This is the first 1-star review I have ever left, and it is a direct reflection of the poor value of the meal combined with the unacceptable breach of customer privacy and professional conduct by the staff. I would urge management to re-evaluate their training protocols regarding how staff discuss and handle customer interactions, but the chef himself came out to offer that same couple a sample of what they would be serving at tomorrows event. Mind you, there was another very friendly-looking couple behind them who weren’t offered a sample, either.

In conclusion, I do not recommend this restaurant. If the restaurant does not wish to accommodate children and the disruptions they may cause, I suggest they clearly define and enforce an adults-only policy rather than allowing their staff to openly criticize paying customers with other customers.

ABSOLUTELY ABSURD and FALSE. I guess it’s because we spoke Spanish that you might’ve not understood when we discipline our child because she is bilingual. Also, we don’t scream and make a big scene as that tends to escalate a situation when a child is already having a difficult time learning to control their emotions aka a meltdown. We did step out to the vehicle and also went to grab more toys. Horrible human beings. Oh here are some pics to prove it BTW. Thank goodness I took some to prove you are being dishonest. I can’t believe it took me this long to read your reply.

Valeria, Valeria, Valeria, this was our first time here, we arrived just as it opened and had the place to ourselves. Like all upscale restaurants this one has its charm. The wait was to be expected so we knew going in, to start off we had the garlic bread which was wonderfully rich in flavor you were able to taste the Italian in them, we also ordered a pizza. The pizza was really good it had just the right crisp to its crust and the toppings weren’t massive which was great, the pizza was really nice, light, and fresh. We will definitely be back. I’m definitely recommending this place if you’re looking for that Italian feel and flavor in Boerne. Just a heads up get there when it opens, you’ll have that quiet take your time feel for lunch. Also the Italian music they had playing was on point. Show Savannah and Chef some love it’s definitely worth checking out.

We dined here yesterday and were disappointed with our experience.
We arrived around 16:30 to an empty restaurant (which remained that way until shortly before our departure), we were helped and sat immediately. The menu was a polar opposite as to what we viewed online and when we inquired the waitress stated it was because the menu changes daily.
Shortly after ordering and the kitchen began preparing our dishes, our eyes began to sting horribly to the point of tears, we couldn’t even really continue our conversation due to the discomfort. The two waitresses noticed and attempted to help by opening the door next to where we were seated which did help a little (it seemed they were also affected), but it was still uncomfortable.
After our food came out it cleared up, though the food was mediocre and at that point we had somewhat lost our appetite.
The waitresses didn’t apologize nor did they take anything off our bill for the inconvenience. I’m not sure about anyone else, but I’d greatly prefer to have dinner without being in pain.

This establishment is top notch, top shelf and top of our list now! The owners are so kind and the bartender, hands down the best mixologist! I have never had a better Tom Collins than I had at Valeria’s! We are coming back with he family! Eat here, drink here, you won’t regret it, beautiful people and atmosphere. Thank you Valeria’s!

I found out about this place from Boerne Radio. The pizza is amazing, the crust is just right. We also enjoyed the Greek salad, linguine and finished off with a delicious cannoli and a huge banana split.

Being from New York, the pizza in Boerne is not very good. I got a pepperoni pizza to-go from here and it was $26. The pizza I received was quite small (personal size) which was disappointing for the price. The pizza itself, was VERY good. I could tell it was made with high quality ingredients and care. I would definitely get take out here again if 1) The pizza could feed more than one person OR 2) The price of the pie was more affordable. Oh well, I guess I’ll keep ordering Dominos!

Authentic Italian cuisine. Incredibly fresh ingredients. Unique menu. Not the speediest service. Owner, Keith, is very passionate about the food. We will definitely go back.
