Mini sushi cakes from ¥626
This shop is located just a short walk from Hatchobori Station and Shintomicho Station. ♀️
This is a place where you can enjoy gorgeous sushi that looks like a cake!
They also offer in-store lunch!
You can order sushi cakes online and pick them up in-store.
They have a wide variety of cakes, including Ho sushi cakes for 5-7 people, mini sushi cakes for one person, and princess sushi cakes for two!
We ordered five mini cakes, including luxurious sushi topped with tuna, salmon, crab, and sea urchin.
The main ingredients and soy sauce jelly are topped on a bed of mixed rice. Each one is delicious!
These gorgeous and adorable sushi cakes!
It’s a stylish glass-walled shop.
If you weren’t told it was sushi, you’d mistake it for a regular cake.
Not only did it look beautiful, it tasted amazing too.
The toppings are covered in a jelly-like soy sauce, which makes them sparkle and prevents them from drying out, allowing you to enjoy the freshness of the sashimi.
The rice is made up of two layers: sushi rice and mixed rice. The not-too-strong sushi rice and the texture and freshness of the finely sliced cucumber in the mixed rice add a nice accent, making it enjoyable to the very last bite.
It makes a perfect little gift. It would also be good for people who aren’t big fans of sweets.
I’ll definitely stop by again.
Look for the tomato mural on the building, and the entrance is on the left.
Upon entering the store, you’ll see a display case lined with sparkling, beautiful sushi cakes. ♪
They’re a feast for the eyes and perfect for a birthday cake. ♡
[Menu]
・Onigashima 820 yen
Main ingredients: Sea urchin, scallop, tuna
・Momotaro 594 yen
Main ingredients: Tuna, sea bream
・Red Oni 626 yen
Main ingredients: Tuna, salmon
・Blue Oni 670 yen
Main ingredients: Shrimp, sea bream, salmon
Each cake is carefully decorated and coated in a white soy sauce jelly, so you can eat it without adding soy sauce.
The toppings are a lineup of everyone’s favorite seafood, and because they’re delivered directly from Toyosu, they’re fresh and delicious, even the kids love them! They raved about how they were better than the sweet cakes. Delicious!
It would be perfect for birthdays and parties, as a gift, or as a souvenir, and would also be appreciated by people with wheat allergies! The staff were also very friendly, so I would like to use it again.
The new store is located on the second floor of Soba Restaurant Katsuian, next to the Mitsubishi UFJ Bank Shintomi-cho Branch.
It’s about a three-minute walk from Hatchobori Station.
It was lunchtime, so I also had lunch.
There are three lunch menu items, and I chose the “Scallop and Sea Bream with Sesame Sauce” set, which I heard was the most popular.
The seafood bowl, tossed in a light sesame sauce, was served with lettuce and carrot salad, making it very healthy. The scallops and sea bream were also fresh, as you’d expect from a sushi cake shop.
I was also happy with the poached egg topping!
The bowl looks stylish, but the amount of rice was ample, and even I, a man, was full.
Also, since it was a cold day, the onion soup that came with the set was delicious! (Soup refills are free.)
Although it operates as a karaoke bar at night, the interior isn’t as enclosed as other bars tend to be. Instead, a large portion of the space is glass-walled, making it bright and spacious during lunchtime. I enjoyed a pleasant afternoon sipping coffee afterward. It felt like I was relaxing in a stylish cafe.
The lunch set was 900 yen, and even with an after-meal coffee it was only 1,000 yen, which I think is a good value compared to the lunch prices in the area.
Next time, I’d like to try a different menu item.
Thank you for the meal!

Lunch service is currently unavailable.
I’ve replaced the photo with one of the sushi cake I took home today.
There’s only counter seating, about 15 seats.
The interior is so beautiful! All the sofas look expensive and are very comfortable. (*^^*) I’d love to work here now (lol)
For lunch, we had ochazuke (rice with tea) for 900 yen per person!
I had the sea urchin grilled rice ball, and it was delicious with a real sea urchin flavor. ❤
It reminded me of the grilled shellfish in Fukushima, and it really had that sea urchin, or rather, the scent of the sea…!
The small dishes were beautifully presented, the interior was very clean, and I thought the staff were very attentive!
Maybe they just moved, but there were still some vacant spots, making it a hidden gem!
The sushi cakes have a rich flavor, and each one has a different filling inside the rice, making them very varied and delicious.
I had a birthday dinner party with eight people, so I purchased the “Aka Oni” No. 7 cake for 7,884 yen (tax included).
The main ingredients were tuna and salmon.
The vinegar wasn’t too strong, allowing the flavor of the ingredients to shine through. Some of the guests don’t like sweet things, so they were very happy!!
I’ll definitely purchase this for another celebration.
They accept phone reservations, but I couldn’t get through, so I went to the store and they weren’t open.
