Since this is a chain restaurant, I expected a certain level of consistency in both food and service.
The soondae soup was okay, but the overall dining experience was disappointing. The interior felt outdated and there was an unpleasant smell inside the restaurant.
When a table next to us asked for shirt covers, the waitress pointed to the wall and asked them to get it themselves instead of assisting.
Service was slow overall.

Maybe it was a bad night. Don’t know. The food was horrible – bad taste, poor preparation (1 of the pork stew seemed to have bad meat. Horrible smell and taste), and horrible service for there being only 3 tables taken at the time. The other tables had all Korean customers where ours was a mixed table. Don’t know if that made a difference, but sometimes it does. Overall, not going back to this place.

The soondae soup was very good! Much better than any soondae soup restaurants in San Jose! And much cheaper than in San Jose!

When they first opened I loveed their soondae guk as their broth was nice and rich. But then the next couple months it started tasting mehh alright. Decided to visit again this week and its back to tasting rich and delicious!!!! they also now have alot more dishes added to their menu. I loveeee their donkatsu. And this time the katsu was MASSIVE in size. Definitely will be back to try the bulgogi stew (they were sold out of bulgogi when I went :/ its my favoritee)

I come here a lot because I like this place. I tried something new today, and the sundae soup and the pork cutlet are both really good.

The food here was amazing! We got dduk bokki with subdae toppings. Its really hard to find good sundae and rice cake place in Seattle and I was excited to find this one! It tasted super authentic just like how I used to have them in Korea, if not better. I felt nostalgic! Also super clean restaurant and the lady was really nice! Kimchi was really good too, which made me want to try their soup. Definitely recommend. We will be back for sure!

March 4th Visit – Found the Best Sundae of My Life!

I hadn’t had breakfast yet, and my stomach was growling. It was cold and rainy, so I thought, Should I go get a warm bowl of soup? And wow—what an experience!

This was my first time trying dwaeji-gukbap (pork soup), and the staff was incredibly kind. They even made a special seasoning mix for me and explained how to properly enjoy the dish. The moment I took my first sip of the rich, steaming broth, the cold outside seemed to disappear. The deep, flavorful taste was simply unforgettable.

I followed their advice—dipping the tender pork into the seasoning, mixing the rice into the soup—and every bite was pure bliss. My husband and I couldn’t stop nodding at each other, as if to say, Yes, this is it!

The kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) was refreshingly crisp, the geotjeori (fresh kimchi) was delicious, but the real star was the sundae (Korean blood sausage). My husband, a true sundae lover, declared it the best he’s ever had, and I couldn’t agree more. Every bite was packed with flavor, making us both speechless with delight.

We almost ordered another plate of assorted sundae to take home, but we knew nothing could beat the taste of freshly made sundae. So instead, we’ve decided—this place is now our go-to spot, and we’ll be back every chance we get!

I really missed Korean food. The kimchi and kkakdugi were so delicious, and the server was very kind. It was such a pleasant dining experience. I recommend the pork soup with rice and the spicy sundae soup. The assorted sundae that comes with the set menu is also very satisfying. Highly recommended!
