Less then $20 for all this food. 6 el pastor tacos, big bag of chips, 3 salsa and a giant soda. Great deal in today’s times, great friendly service, very clean area.

First visit, the person taking orders was friendly, restaurant was clean decorated nice.
Ordered the chicken tacos without salsa, they were probably the best flavored tacos I’ve ever had.
The rice tasted like every other Spanish rice, the beans had an odd, maybe citrus hint, which I didn’t so much care for, but it wasn’t awful.
Overall, I’ll definitely come back for those tacos.

I took a chance with this taqueria, based entirely off my proximity in the moment and feeling like having some authentic Mexican food. I love lengua and not all Mexican restaurants serve it, so I’m always on the look out. This taqueria was excellent. The food is fantastic, the service is extremely fast, and the staff is friendly and recognizes customer needs before they need to be brought up. They care about the place.
Mexican Taqueria Fran has everything and more you could ask for from a small local business, and I was the only diner in the whole place at lunch time! If you’re reading this review, thinking of where to eat, I think you’ll benefit greatly from being one of their customers. Places like this deserve to be packed!

Asked for an asada regular burrito and got my burrito with hardly any meat mostly rice and beans and the meat that I did get was a bit hard like i was eating soft rocks. Idk if it was because i didn’t tip at the register but i didn’t think I have to tip if i was taking my food to go but anyways this was a bad decision getting lunch here

I ordered the Birria plate instead of the Birria tacos. The people behind us ordered the correct one and shout out to them because like the homies they were, they offered me one of their extra tacos since I originally meant to get that. It was FIRE ‼️ definitely recommend. Attached a photo of me scarfing down their delicious food and my reaction in the moment

I have been going to Taqueria Fran since they opened last year and their food never disappoints. I especially love their Tacos with either Pollo Asada, Lengua, or Carne Asada. They have a great salsa that has the right amount of spice, they’re corn and flour tortillas are fresh made and very yummy. I finally tried their wet burrito with the Pollo Asada covered in their red sauce and it was delicious; the red sauce has a nice tang to it and the ratio of meat to beans, rice, crema, and avocado is very generous. Overall, a great place in Dixon with very reasonable prices for the portions you get.

Decided to try this location because of the positive reviews. They were definitely right! The restaurant and bathroom were clean (which is important to me). The food was delicious! We had the carne asada taco platee and the pastor taco. Very good. The salsas were flavorful and perfectly spiced. We will be back!!
