This pizza restaurant is simply fantastic. The selection is amazing- there is a pizza for all flavour profiles! Between three of us, we shared a Margherita pizza, Spicy Beast pizza and a Funghi pizza. We also order a flight of bubbly wine. If you’re staying at the Oak Bay spa hotel, you must try this restaurant!

It was my second visit on Monday, the 22nd, and they definitely didn’t disappoint! As expected, the pizza was fantastic, but this time the cocktails truly blew me away—so much more than just a drink. The meticulous balance of fresh ingredients and flavors was absolutely impressive. Even if you’re there for the pizza, I highly recommend ordering a cocktail.
The server was incredibly kind and professional. What stood out most was how consistently they used hand sanitizer after every interaction—whether greeting guests or clearing tables. These small but habitual actions showed their serious commitment to cleanliness, which made me feel completely at ease enjoying my meal. The trust in their hygiene standards was a huge plus!

We went to Faro on Sunday, Dec 14. We enjoyed great food and service. Our server mentioned she was new, but she did everything perfectly. We ate the delicious and crunchy broccolini to start, then the tasty carbonara pizza with fennel sausage. Yum! We also had the bubbly flight of wine. I highly recommend a dinner out at Faro.

Such a great pizza place! The Italian pizzas are cooked in a fire oven and taste amazing—crispy, flavorful, and super fresh. Lots of good options to choose from, and the ambiance is really cozy and nice. Perfect spot to chill and enjoy some seriously good pizza. Would definitely come back!

Came as a couple for my wife’s birthday (noted on the reservation, so we expected some special attention). Service was painfully slow: long wait to take drink order, another to bring them, then ~20 mins just to take the food order. They charged extra for chili oil and politely rushed us out after our meal due to the next reservation. Pizza was good but nothing special and overpriced. The slow service and complete lack of birthday acknowledgment really hurt the experience.

We were so excited to try Faro Pizzera at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel and have been there on many occasions. The ingredients are high quality, and tasty, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff are lovely people. Unfortunately we’ve had very little luck with their pizza of late. The first time we ordered, we asked for (and paid for) extra meat. They forgot to add the meat. To their credit, they kindly gave us a gift voucher for a free pizza which was a very nice gesture. When we returned a week later, again we paid for extra toppings and they left out two of the toppings. One of the pizzas was so soggy, it had to be rolled up to eat. Last night we ordered our usual pizzas (Cappricciosa) for take-out. Once we got to our destination, we opened the box to find one of the pizzas burnt to a crisp on both the crust and the bottom of the pizza. We were too far from the restaurant to return at that point so we just ate the toppings off the pizza and threw the crust away. I don’t know how they even allowed that pizza to leave the kitchen like that. We’ve really tried to love you Faro but the inconsistency is becoming very frustrating. We’ll likely try once more, but if things don’t improve, we’ll sadly have to part ways.

My recent visit to the FARO pizzeria, located right in the hotel, left the most pleasant impressions! I can confidently give this place a solid 5 out of 5 points.
The pizzas were simply amazing! The dough was perfectly baked, thin and crispy at the edges, and the filling was fresh and generous. It is obvious that they use only the best here!
The service was also excellent. The staff was very polite, attentive and prompt. The atmosphere in the pizzeria is very cozy and relaxing, which is ideal for a pleasant evening.
Overall, the FARO pizzeria is a great place for those who appreciate delicious pizza, comfort and quality service. It is a great addition to the hotel and certainly deserves the highest praise. I will definitely come back again!

Faro is my favourite pizza place in Victoria! The main reason is they have a delicious cashew cheese for us with dairy allergies! It is such a treat to be able to eat a cheese that tastes like real cheese! Faro is the only restaurant I come to for pizza because all the other restaurants use gross Daiya cheese! My family has been coming here regularly for years! The quality never changes! The only thing that was a huge disappointment this visit was that they removed their salt spring cider. Myself, my family and my friends would come all the time for the delicious cider and pizza! Sadly now we have to decide between pizza or cider. But overall best pizza place in Victoria! The pizza is incredible and the service is just as amazing!

Great idea, Happy Hour at Noon! We joined friends for pizza, a glass of wine and desert $29, bring your appetite as everyone thought that their pizza choice was “The Best!” Ambrosia took great care of us made sure we were no wanting for anything, well done!
