We were coming from the airport and were starving and found this little spot. Typical bar foods … was a little disappointed as ‘out of towners’ that we couldn’t get a drink unless we paid for a membership. Food was good … my food came out wrong but they immediately made another dish to replace it even though I said it was okay.

Great service and the burrito that I ordered was ridiculously huge and was packed with great flavor and smothered with an enchilada sauce and cheese!! I took half of it home to finish off. Some of the food came out wrong and the staff quickly corrected the order. Would definitely suggest this restaurant!!

Everyone is welcome. This place is open to the public in case you were wondering. Something I immediately noticed, they don’t see color here. I travel all over the country and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so welcome at a bar/restaurant. It really does feel like family here. Debbie at the bar is a rockstar. Food and drinks are awesome. A great way to support South Bend firefighters, many of which you will probably meet at the bar. Oh and probably the safest place to hang out in South Bend and beyond. Can’t say enough great things about this place. This place is as local as you can get. Dive bar nice people without the dive bar.❤️ If you’re staying across the street in the hotels, don’t worry, you are welcome.

I stopped in on a raffle day 19Nov2025 to get a bite to eat. I was in town on business and had heard the wings were great. I ordered the pork rinds and 6 traditional wings. Both items plus tip came out to a total of $16.36. Both were very good. I paid with my Corporate credit card and left. You can imagine my SHOCK when the charge landed and I was charged $286.63. I have contacted my bank to dispute this charge and the charge is now being investigated. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Our first time was a very busy trivia night. We were there to check out the place – waiting was no big deal. Our server, Jennie, was incredible. The stuffed mushroom burger was the best we’ve ever had. Hot chips were hot & delicious. Went back the next day for wings and shrimp roll up. Food is a 10. Servers are great. Bright, energetic, lots of nice folks. We bought a membership to support our local firefighters. We’ll be back – many times! Lots to try on the menu. Only disappointment- no pierogis!

We had the traditional bar food off the menu which was traditional bar food taste. I forgot to try the jalapeño ketchup. This is a really fun location as it has a lot of the fire dept history. The service was great, our waitress was super sweet.

Highly recommend this place! Flying out of SBN and wanted to support local fire fighters….had no idea it was a member only deal but we were treated so respectfully and so kind!! They asked another member of theirs to treat as guests. We are from FL and made no sense to join the club! Highly impressed! Hoosier hospitality!
