Horrible wait to get your food. Made a reservation and we were seated and the Server took our drink order and appetizer order. We waited almost 1 hour to get one appetizer we then waited another hour to get our entree. When he finally brought our food they actually forgot a side dish I reminded the server and by the time I was finished eating I told the server to just cancel it and he just kept asking are you sure it’ll be ready soon you can take it home. We litterally were there for almost 3 hours. Even the table next to us were complaining on how long they were waiting for just a salad. This was just really bad and a waste of $300 meal. Server was lucky I tipped him well after this kind of experience.

I’m ashamed to say that this was my first time at Capri of Willow Springs and I live literally 5 minutes away. But in my defense the restaurant is kinda in the cut and I think they could benefit from signage on Archer. The food and drinks were delicious and our waitress was very busy but took the time to chat with us for a bit. The atmosphere was pleasant and I will definitely be back again soon and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Came to this restaurant for the first the about one week before our terrible experience. The food and service was 5 stars. So much so we booked a reservation for a birthday group of 6 the next week on Sunday. We arrived at 6pm and the restaurant still had plenty of seating. After about 30 minutes, we hadn’t received bread or appetizers. We were informed they ran out of bread and the owner sent out for two loaves. About an hour later, we noticed a party of about 8 people had been seated, and they had bread. I went to find out what happened. I was rudely told by the owner around 7:15 they were out of bread and wouldn’t get anymore. She informed me the busboy thought we had bread and gave the larger party who arrived an hour after us the bread, and that he was human and made a mistake. While going to talk to her, I noticed everyone else had bread. She showed absolutely no regard or understanding for why I was complaining. I told her we had reservations and had been there for over 90 minutes waiting and we should leave and she said, agreed. Upon returning to the table others wanted to just stay and eat because we had ordered our food. When the waiter came back to the table, he told us they were out of soup. We left and went to different restaurant. We were the only people of color in the restaurant. The whole experience felt racially motivated. The owner was extremely rude, unprofessional, and expressed no remorse for poor planning. She repeated stated we were real busy on Saturday and so we didn’t have enough food for today. It was an awful experience. I will never patronize this restaurant again. Even though it carries the name, we were told that is no longer associated with the other Capri chain and the owner is not a family member like she represented to me. She was a horrible person, her staff seemed afraid of her.
I was never loud, or rude to her staff. Facts are facts; I agree. The whole experience was not just about bread. How do you wait for 90 minutes in a restaurant that was not crowded and your table only get 1 drink, 2 appetizers and that was it. When our order was finally taken you were then out of soup. The owner is a pathetic excuse for a manager and does not know how to run a restaurant. You didn’t charge for the one drink and appetizer because you wanted us to leave. The owner totally ruined the birthday celebration and we had find a restaurant to eat at when we should have been headed home. Clearly other patrons prior to my post expresses the same opinion of the manager. She wasn’t protecting her employees. Fact, other than her, the only employee I interacted with was our waiter. If everyone else in the restaurant had service and was accommodated except us, the only patrons of color what does it look like? I was neither loud or rude, you were correct, I did want your attention because after 90 minutes of waiting, I was very agitated, but never loud. The owner is rude, immature and her post defending her ineptness as a restaurant owner is clearly not because of me. I still believe her employees are intimidated by her.

The food here is actually quite decent, but the management is extremely disappointing. At first, I assumed the behavior I witnessed came from a hostess or shift supervisor, but I later learned she’s actually the owner. Every time I dine here, she’s loud, unaccommodating, and constantly using profanity—whether toward employees or over the phone with takeout customers.

Her arrogance and lack of professionalism completely ruin the dining experience. It’s consistent and unacceptable. It’s also clear she hasn’t been in this industry long and doesn’t understand what true hospitality or customer service means.

I felt like getting out of the house – was not hungry just wanted to be around friendly people and have a different drink. I asked for sweet different cocktail. She suggested a peach sangria – something I’ve never had before but nothing ventured…….I must say it was great. So I sat at the bar had my sangria listened to music and had a very good time. Nice to get out of the house. By the way I had more than one

I have been to Capri more than 10 times (and at 2 different locations), so this review is WAY overdue. This is now 100% my favorite restaurant in the Western Suburbs. The food is GREAT, and the manager/host & staff are somehow even better. I’m very glad the prices are not double because I would probably go anyway. If you haven’t tried the rigatoni, I would do so (unbelievably fresh and melts in your mouth). I am OK to try different items on the menu because it’s all so good. I usually have the chicken parmesan, but the lasagna special is an example of when it makes sense to stray. Please see the attached photo – this has not been altered – it is actual size! The table might have buckled when they set it down, but this was even better than the chicken parmesan, wow! The extra calories were very worth it – we look forward to our next visit!!!!!

I’ve been to Capri about five times now and I have to say I’m never disappointed. The fried calamari is always a crowd pleaser and the baked clams are fantastic. Everything on the menu is delicious and the linguine with shrimp and broccoli is one of the best I’ve ever had. The entire staff is stellar, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is vintage Italiano.
