I ordered the Mauna Loa Chicken. This dish is supposed to be spicy instead my chicken had sauce that tasted like sweet and sour sauce. I did let them know I believe I got the Huli Huli chicken instead. They said they would make it over again but I didnt have time to wait. But didnt offer comp for next time. The Mac salad was good and the one portion of chicken I ate was nice and tender. I also ordered the 2 piece spam masubi. It was OK. This could have just been an off day. Worth another chance

Just smothered in sauce. Got the island fire chicken and the mouna loa chicken. One was too salty and the other was just drenched in sweet chili sauce. No smokiness or spice at all from either.

We were the only ones there for lunch, but even so, the service was very cheerful. The atmosphere was uncomplicated, plenty of daylight from the windows.
Foodwise, the steamed rice was pleasant, good tasting, she had the fried rice and was expecting it to be more fried like Chinese FR. And the Mac salad was good because it wasn’t swimming in mayo (I saw some prior reviews mentioning that, so bravo) but just right, with some carrot shreds. Could’ve used a little bit of tang, like pickle juice or cider vinegar, some onion. But pretty darn good. The wife had the kalua pork and I had both the kalua pork and island fire chicken. We agreed, the pork was super tender & juicy, with a nice smoke to it. The chicken was nice, not hot, hot, but a nice warmth and stickiness to it. Great tasting on both proteins! I also had a spam musubi, with the spam having a nice griddle on it. Good lunch. Affordable.

FINALLY!!! Get broke-da-mout plate lunch like back home! Everything was fricken ono! Kalbi, Huli Huli Chicken, Teri Beef, Mac Salad, Double Scoop Rice, RIGHT ON! Thought I was going have leftovers but I when grind the whole thing! Thank you, Chuki’s in Troutdale ❤️

Rate this place a 12/10. Best egg rolls I’ve had in 20+ years. The chicken in the yakisoba had amazing smoky flavor. Portions were very generous. So many great choices. Will definitely be going back.

Mac Salad was bad too much mayo or something. It tasted fine. But they drowned it in mayo. Ruined it. Rice is just rice so can’t complain there. Got two different chicken options. And they were lackluster. Someone will like this place. But I can’t recommend it.

We had huli huli chicken and kalbi chicken plates with Mac salad, green salad, and steamed vegetables. Also had spam musubi. All of it was really good. The server was very nice. The decor is bright and cheerful. We will go back!

Just ordered here and it was extremely disappointing. Looks like the Indian place just changed their menu and that’s a shame because we loved the Indian place. It was quality stuff.
This was very bland, the food felt like it was cooked with no passion. Fried rice was bland and uninspiring(definitely nothing worth the upgraded price), Short Ribs were pre-cut and tasted grilled, but you can tell it had no marinade. The Mouna Loa felt like generic prepackaged breaded chicken that was tossed with a bottled sauce. The chicken itself had no flavor at all. The musubi was nothing special. It was just……meh. And the Mac salad was incredibly bland. Felt like Mac mixed with mayo with tiny pieces of shredded carrots.
There are better options in the area for Hawaiian food.
