We have lived in Cortland for 3 years and haven’t bought from Cocca,so. No reason. We just haven’t. Today we wanted white pizza and our usual pizzeria was closed. So we called them up and ordered pizza and chicken wings for take out.
I took the 5 min drive to pick up.they said 15-20 min and my order was ready in 15 min..
The folks were friendly and helpful. There were a few tables and a bar next to the pizza counter.
I took the food home. We thought the white pizza crust was very good. The sauce was a bit thin. The cheese was good but there was no peppers or olives and capers. The wings were large but hardly jumbo. They had a nice crunch. The BBQ sauce was very good.
We will definitely give them another shot with other items. The service and product are solid.
Also, Cocca’s is definitely engaged in the community and that is important.

This is a great pizza joint with an always busy bar right in the heart of Cortland. This has been a family favorite since we moved here three years ago. The food is always consistently good and the staff is friendly.

Some of the workers really need to learn how to make the Margherita pizza. Look how thin this pizza is. You cannot over cook it or it becomes dry and hard as a rock like the one you see in the photo.

Overall the pizza was pretty good. I enjoyed the gluten free dough. It is expensive pizza in my opinion. For the two pizzas in the pictures the total was $39 and change. We waited over 50 minutes for our pizza and the woman at the bar was a little unsettling. She asked for the name of our order at least four times and additionally what type of pizzas we ordered another few times. When placing the order she was confusing and uncertain or how to input the order in the register. Overall I would go back, but only if something is on sale. The potato pizza was lacking flavor. I came home and added nature’s seasons to it…

This is the third time I have had pizza from the Cocca’s in Cortland. There are obviously Cocca’s scattered all over the Mahoning Valley, but this establishment is hand’s down the best Cocca’s every…single…time! There is no scrounging on toppings. The amount of cheese makes your mouth water. And the crust is delicious. Have always done carryout, but when picking up, everyone is friendly and respectful. This last time, my adult disabled son went in with me to pick up the pizza, and the man working was so nice to him and offered him a warm chocolate chip cookie. Such a refreshing change in people skills ❤️.

Reubon roll was not good. It had the dressing inside. It barely had any corn beef in it. You couldn’t taste the kraut from all the thousand islands island dressing or whatever its called. Very disappointed. Last year was delicious, no dauce was in it.

Pizza itself is decent but theyre using fajita chicken from a bag on the buffalo and bbq chicken pizzas and thats gross. Especially for the price of a specialty pizza youd think youd be getting fresh quality ingredients. Make sure your very clear about your order nothing worse than a 20 minute drive for the wrong food

My wife and I always buy food here and leave $8-$10 tip every time when we only spend $30 and it’s 5 minutes from the house.. but they can’t even include basic sides and argue with you when you ask for it.. so I guess I’ll just be paying in exact change from now on. The driver was a good dude.

We ordered a half sheet traditional with mushrooms on the full pizza. Paid the full price to cover the whole pizza. Arrived with only half mushrooms. At least it was fast I guess.
