The Cowboy Club in Van Alstyne, TX is hands-down one of the best hidden gems in North Texas! The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back — whether you’re here for live music, karaoke, or a cold drink with friends, you’ll feel right at home. The food is incredible, the staff is always welcoming, and there’s always something fun going on.

People say “they don’t make them like they used to” and this place is like no other. With good food, cold beer and outstanding people. If you are ever around the Van Alstyne area come by and have a burger or a brisket quesadilla, listen to some live music and check out this awesome Texas original bar.

This amazing local bar has quickly become our Cheers! The kind of place where everybody knows your name! The owners and staff are incredible and truly feel more like family than just employees. John, Mandi, Kim, and Mama Sandy are amazing! They even got a great cook, Jason who is a chef!

The food is great, the drinks are always on point, and the entertainment never disappoints. We’ve celebrated countless birthdays, anniversaries, and family gatherings here, and every time always feels special.

Whether you’re planning a date night or hosting a big group, this is the perfect spot. You’ll meet amazing people, make new friends, and keep coming back.

If you’re looking for that welcoming, hometown bar where everyone feels like family — this is it!

Easily the best burgers around. No question. Good food, good people, good music. This is our go-to spot when we’re looking for a night mild night out. Budget-friendly, 5 stars across the board. Kinda reminds me of my grandpa’s house in the best way possible.

They always have something fun going on—live music, karaoke night, and Sunday Funday is hands-down one of the best ways to end the weekend. The vibe is laid back, the staff/owners are AMAZING!!

Great spot, family owned and they treat their customers like family as well. Great spot to get out of the house on a Friday for the live music especially with the new stage now. Karaoke on Saturday and now Poker on Monday nights you can’t complain. They are off 75 easy to find, lots of parking and they have a great selection of food and drinks.

I have met some of the best people at The Cowboy Club. The drinks are always cold
And served with a smile. The food is amazing. You wouldn’t think that a small town bar would have amazing hamburgers, but they do! Go try one for yourself. It’s a great place to unwind after a long day. Friday nights has live music, they have different events through the week. Love my small hometown bar!

CClub has a new chef, he’s putting out some quality burgers. They’ve also put a new stage in back outside. March 29 is a big night w live music. For a dive bar, pretty dang good.

If Van Alstyne had a heartbeat, it would be thumping somewhere between the dance floor and the bar at The Cowboy Club. This place is what happens when cold beer, good music, and small-town Texas vibes all decide to throw a party together.

First off—John and Mandy, the owners, absolutely nailed it. You can tell this isn’t some corporate “cowboy-themed” place dreamed up in a boardroom. This is the real deal. John keeps things running smooth, Mandy makes sure everyone feels welcome, and together they’ve built the kind of spot where you walk in once and somehow already know three people.

The music? Loud enough to make you forget about your responsibilities, but not so loud you can’t yell “ONE MORE!” at your buddies. The crowd is the perfect mix of two-steppers, line-dance pros, and folks who think they can dance (me). And somehow, everyone belongs.

Cold drinks, good laughs, boots on the floor, and zero pretension. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, cut loose, and remember why Texas does nightlife better than anyone—The Cowboy Club is it.

10/10. Would absolutely lose my voice here again.
