The chips are made there and come out warm! Must get the nachos to start. Very tasty. Reasonable prices. You order first at the counter, pick a table, and then they bring you your food. Lots of corn wrappings so GF works (dedicated fryer).

Busy taco joint on the top of Greenwich Ave with a boisterous atmosphere and tasty eats. Best part are the home made tortillas. Rather than needing two per taco they make them extra thick but still nice and soft. Really nice chew and super tasty. We tried a few different beer and chicken options. All tasty but nothing I would write home about. Prices are fitting of a taco spot in Greenwich I guess…. Didn’t get a chance to try the adult beverages but they appeared to have nice selection.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my brother’s birthday at this taqueria yesterday, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively, warm, and inviting—definitely a 5/5. The food was absolutely incredible, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection—5/5. The portions were generous, so everyone left completely satisfied—5/5. One of the highlights has to be their amazing in-house tequila—it’s top-notch and really sets this place apart. On top of all that, the owner was incredible—so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely made our celebration feel special. It’s rare to find a place that combines delicious food, great drinks, and such a fantastic vibe. 5/5 spot on Greenwich Ave.

I really liked the food here! Took a quick day trip to Connecticut and found this place walking up Greenwich avenue. The chicken burrito was flavorful. You can taste the grill of the chicken which gives the burrito a really great flavor! The shrimps from the shrimp tacos were similarly grilled to perfection. Chicken quesadilla looked like mini tacos but had good flavor as well!
The tortilla are half moon shaped tortilla so they are larger than your typical triangle chip. I got them warm and lightly salted. Great flavor on the chips too!!

La Taqueria is truly a magnificent treat. Although I must say, it is very expensive for one taco!!! But the price is reflected in the quality because this food is soooo good! Me and my boyfriend enjoyed the fish tacos, the shrimp tacos, and the steak tacos! Don’t worry to my loyal followers – I did not eat the steak The chips and guacamole were nothing to scoff at – the chips especially were so nice and warm!!! One last note… could we pleeease get water sooner than when we get our food please

The soup was fantastic—rich and flavorful, definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the tacos didn’t quite live up to our expectations. They looked great, but the taste was underwhelming. Still, worth visiting for the soup alone!
