I’m not entirely sure why there is some hate for this place. It’s very lowkey very cozy it’s an entirely peaceful experience if you want to get some food as a small group or as one. The sushi was great and the soba was yummy. Also the staff was incredibly nice, she was very sweet and kind to me and my family. I’d love to go back.

I ordered the Boston, Dragon and Friend roll to go on the online website. Easy order and pick-up. Boston and Dragon were delicious even after a 30 min drive back to Stockwell. Can’t say for the Friend roll, cause that’s definitely not the Friend Roll. Spicy and onions on top. I think it’s the Chili Roll. I couldn’t eat it, too spicy.

Edit – I spoke with the hostest. That is the Friend roll. Still docking a star because the online menu doesn’t show that roll has spicy mayo.

My wife and I attended this restaurant on Valentine’s Day. While they were a little slow. They were able to take care of our table well enough. I had never had sushi before attending this restaurant and the entree that I got was very good. I would attend this restaurant again

Nice way to spend a lunch out visiting another culture. I wouldn’t say it’s cheap but it wasn’t expensive either. The lunch portion was just right and a special. We were mostly alone so we could talk and enjoy our food. Lighting is nice, felt warm and inviting. Overall a good experience

So my wife and I came there for our third anniversary. The food was excellent. We ordered the bento box . The restaurant is clean and seating was appropriate. Service was very good. Our waitress checked up on us every few minutes and not too many minutes to where it became an annoyance. The lobster rangoon taste probably a lot like the crab Rangoon, except it just has the word lobster in front of it. That being said, the miso soup was amazing. The boxes were OK. I see that they were OK because the salad was warm and not cold, but it was still crisp, and so was the sushi. The main course, which was the scallops in sauce, the sauce was a little bit on the overly sweet side. I’m going to be shaking for quite a while with a sugar rush. That being said, overall, this is an excellent place to eat, and I would recommend it.

We got the yakiniku beef hibachi, eel cucumber roll, spicy salmon roll, and the shrimp & vegetable tempura appetizer. All the food was subpar. The hibachi sauce was both overly sweet and overly salty. The eel cucumber roll had eel that tasted old and like it had gone bad. The vegetables for the tempura seemed to be repurposed from the hibachi. We have never seen bell peppers and broccoli used for tempura before. The spicy salmon roll was alright, but there was a lack of actual salmon in the roll and the spicy mayo was doing most of the heavy-lifting. Overall, the food did not meet our expectations, and the atmosphere was dull.

Just ok, definitely not something we would run back to. It was so incredibly hot inside we ate as quickly as possible so we could leave. The restaurant was empty and there was a rice cooker in the lobby…..

I order carry out a lot from here. Sweet potato, spicy California roll, and crunch/crispy spicy crab. I love it. The rice is perfect stickiness too. They are always fast! Deserves more stars, better reviews!

First time we have eaten at this restaurant. We had great service with 15mins for pick up. Very friendly and clean and good Covid-19 practice. My girls 2 and 5 loved it and ate almost a roll by themselves. The udon noodles were fantastic and the broth was flavorful. Best gyoza(potstickers) I have had. Highky recommended for those who love sushi.

Meh. Everything about it was just alright. The service was forgettable, as in we were forgotten about a few times and the only customers in there. The teriyaki sauce on the chicken was good, but the fried rice lacked flavor. The spring roll was cool in the middle. The salad with the ginger dressing was also flavorless. For $26 for 2 for lunch I was hoping for more.
