Just moved from Midwest to south MS. I’ve lived in Guadalajara, MX where my wife is from. This is a great place for authentic tacos. Not the basic queso birria tacos that are being hyped up. That’s good. Great service and clean establishment. Next time I’m in the area I will be back.

What a DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH this place is. These could be the best Al Pastor Tacos I’ve ever eaten and the Green Sauce is for sure the best I’ve ever had. It all started with Jose at the window and how friendly and helpful he was. I ordered 3 Al Pastor and 3 Shrimp tacos on corn tortillas. They were absolutely BOMB and I could have eaten a lot more but would have for sure been sick because I couldn’t stop. You MUST STOP here for your taco fix! It will be the best thing you could do for yourself.

I love coming here. It’s never a miss. You know how you get some food somewhere at you just NEED it to be good, and it’s not? That’ll never happen to you here. If you’re having a bad day and need a delicious bite to make your day, this is WHERE TO GO!! You will not regret it. Today they were working on my food while I was ordering it it was ready within 10 mins. This place should have a line regularly. No need to get tacos y quesadillas nowhere else!

The Mexican street corn was good. The pineapple frescas was outstanding! The tacos? Meh. The birria taco wasn’t a birria taco, no consomee..no melty cheese The Tortillas weren’t submerged into consomme so skip it.
The taco al pastor no Pina lacked flavor like not marinaded as long it should be.
The asada was basic. Also lacked flavor.
The mild sauce was good as was the medium red salsa.
Clean tables and the area was as well…. I didn’t see an outside garbage can. So had to take trash with me.
Would I eat here again? Yes….it was okay

When I ordered birria tacos I expected birria tacos…they’re not cooked in birria at all and it doesn’t come w/the consume. I used my card so I didn’t get a refund I just dealt w/the dry tacos pictured here.
Tupelo did me dirty on this one..I’m from Philly where birria tacos are a plenty. No authenticity here whatsoever.
Whether it’s Philly, California, New York, Or Wisconsin…birria is birria..period.

Great food. Highly recommend carne asada. Tripas were pricier, crunchy, but a little salty and dry. Pastor was average. I had three tacos for about $8, decent meal but I wished for more!

Best tacos and tortas in Tupelo. I’ve had all except pork. They all went beyond my expectations. The meat is tender and flavorful, and they give you a good portion. Topings are also money. The street corn is also good.
