Alright. Moe’s. You walk in, the staff yells “Welcome to Moe’s!” and you know exactly where you are—a chain, sure, but one that promises simple, aggressive Tex-Mex fuel. My wife and I opted for the Homewrecker Burrito meal, and let me tell you, when the Adobo Chicken comes off the grill piping hot, as it did for us—just after the lunch rush had cleared—it’s a glorious thing. That heat matters. That simple, well-seasoned, juicy protein elevates this whole assembly from institutional fodder to an honest working man’s lunch.
The staff here in Decatur were straight-up friendly, moving with genuine hustle and helpfulness. They were good hosts, and that counts for everything in this racket. The Homewrecker itself is a solid piece of construction: beans, rice, pico, cheese, and that good chicken, all tightly wrapped. You know the drill. It came with the obligatory side of chips and that famous queso—creamy, salty, and utterly addictive. Pair it with a cold, unforgiving Coke Zero, and you have a brief, satisfying moment of indulgence.
It isn’t a life-changing meal in Oaxaca, but this Moe’s delivers on its promise. It’s a clean transaction: fresh ingredients built to order by people who give a damn. Sometimes, that’s all you can ask for. A three-star experience in a five-star world, and I mean that as a compliment.

This is the best barbecue joint in Decatur! I love the smoked wings so much that I always get them, but others in our family have gotten catfish, pork, and the potatoes. Banana pudding is a side!

The staff here are so beyond amazing that I struggle to put into words what it means to me when they do what they can to accommodate my dietary restrictions and make my visit and meal great for me. The ingredients are high quality and there is a great selection of them so whatever you like can easily be made, and the staff have never treated me like I was an imposition.

The burrito bowl with beef was excellent. I added bacon and was extremely pleased. Can’t go wrong with bacon! Rice was cooked well unlike their competitor down the road. Could have been warmer so I’m knocking off a star.

Stopped in last night for a good meal and it was a great experience from the time I walked in we were treated so good by the 3 young teens working there were really nice and polite they did a wonderful job I’m so happy we chose to eat here I haven’t had Moe’s in 12 years since moving away from our old house. Excellent choice I’ll be back.

The store employee said that the food delivered was the correct order and that is all they were going to do. I ordered the fajita bar and have the receipt paying for the fajita bar. You tell me based on the picture if this is a fajita bar. It is ground beef and not very pleasing to the eye. I would not recommend using the Decatur location for anything catering. Rude and not willing to make it right when contacted.
