DRY CHICKEN & STALE TACOS! I was really rooting for this place, the location was cute, the restaurant was clean, and the girl at the counter was so sweet. However, the food is subpar. My tacos had NO flavor and the chicken was cold. I hate when I take a bit of food and the meat is deathly dry, it was not a fun experience. I also ordered a side of beans, wow they were bland!
The worst part is that my Mom noticed The Taco Spot uses prepackaged 99 cent ramen for their birria ramen. The staff had the packages oddly placed in the dining area on display. Suddenly, the reason for why the food was bad was upon us, weak ingredients lead to poor quality food.
The Taco Spot is located in DT Phoenix, this is a big pass from me. Sure the food is affordable, and they have a self-service kiosk, however, I’m not going to recommend this restaurant to any Yelper. I couldn’t finish my meal…

The Birria tacos and ramen are to die for. Absolutely amazing. We saw the picture on the window and came back the next day to try. It’s a rare thing to not be disappointed these days.
Also, the service was amazing. The cashier checked on us and other customers regularly, and was very kind and assisted an elderly customer that kept needing assistance. That really impressed me. Thank you for the great food, and a great memory!

FU BAR
I was out for a motorcycle ride and all of sudden got really hungry. Found this spot in down town Phoenix called “The Tacospot” and was greeted by Lorena who was very helpful with the menu. Her attitude was everything anyone would hope to expect at any food place. Awesome person, easy to chat with and GREAT work ethics. This is now added to my list of favorite food restaurants to have a great meal. Keep it Lorena. People like are what make people want to come back!!

Very clean establishment. Smells good as soon as you walk in. Service is always friendly. Food is delicious every time. I never have to wait long either. I work right across the street and this is my favorite place to go for lunch.

Was fun and exciting to walk into the establishment. I was greeted right away and the worker answered all of my questions. The food was delivered promptly and the building is very clean! Easy access and an open environment. The menu is simple and has many options. They also have technology that scrolls the menu. The burrito bowl I ordered had a great taste…as well as the salsa, but for the price you get more food from Chipotle in comparison to this burrito bowl.

My experience first there was no parking so i was hard to get the food. It was in downtown so parking is usually rough. Customer service was ok it didn’t feel welcoming & the customer service women didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. For the price there wasn’t much meat in the food. I didn’t know that they just cover the top with tin foil so the juice fell everywhere. The meat taste like regular meat. I won’t go back there better places.
