Delicious! We had the pork belly crackling fries and a beef bàhn mì. Beef cooked to your taste. Really lovely flavours and well priced. Lots of nice looking food places in the Arndale Market, recommend trying this if you’re there.

The food is absolutely amazing ! I had the Pho Chay and some spring rolls. However some of the staff could certainly do with more training. I asked for prawns in my meal and even though I got the Pho Chay I explained I do eat meat, the waiter was confused by this and when I tried to explain he just rudely cut me off. We were given the spring rolls but no side plates… so we struggled to eat them as they were falling apart and normally I would ask for them but it started to feel like we were a nuisance just by being there and only then we got the plates when he saw us struggle, no apology or anything though. Long story short, if you want really good food come here but dont expect good service.

I get lunch from Viet Shack regularly as it’s fresh and tasty. The lady that takes the orders is warm and welcoming. Recommended

Food recommendations:
BBQ meats with rice. Both the quack and shack fries are very nice
What could be improved:
Prawn portions on meals that come with it
When I order less popular dishes, they didn’t come with everything that was advertised. For example, the prawn and chicken slaw was missing mango, and fresh herbs (coriander & mint) which left me disappointed

I feel like you need to address your prices, Large quack fries for £15, it was just some duck with fries and a bit of garnish, chilli slices etc. I’m guessing the large means more fries? I don’t know… that price is just wild for what you get

Omg that was delicious.
Chicken was perfect, steak spot on medium rare as asked, fries super tasty and all with right amount of spice. Perfect dish. It was a pleasure to eat.

i love viet shack so much! one of THE best lunch spots in town, i have never been disappointed by anything on the menu!! any variation of their loaded fries (quack, shack, crack) are all incredible and i crave them constantly!!!! the banh mi, burgers, and salads are all top quality too, all with fresh ingredients.

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The whole experience from start to finish was a delight. The place was packed but we didn’t have to wait too long and we were shown to our table which was in front of the kitchen. You could see the chefs beavering away, creating the food. Our waitress was fabulous. Very friendly and service was prompt. I chose the Quack Burger from the extensive menu and my lad had Fo Chay with broccoli and spring roll side dishes. I didn’t want the meal to end. The flavours and tastes were stunning. Decent portions too.
