Dairy Queen is usually a reliable chain, not today. I ordered a chili dog, what I received looked like it was pulled from the depths of hell. Blackened chili and a rock hard bun. How did the chilli even get this burnt?!?

I ordered my usual Blizzard, chocolate ice cream with peanut butter cups and Heath. I had to actively hunt through the whole cup for the mix-ins, if it weren’t for a few crumbles I’d have thought they forgot to add them. It was like eating plain ice cream.

The bright spot were perfectly cooked onion rings. I’ll try DQ again, just not this location.

Edited: removed a star due to the lame, scripted response. You would have been better off to not even respond. Did you even LOOK at the photos?

Visited last evening, and was not the first time I have had a bad experience at this location. My blizzard was under filled (ice cream was more than 2 inches from the top of the cup, and barely had any M&Ms in it. The mix ins it did have were all at the bottom (was not properly mixed up). My husband got a medium cone, which was the tiny, and did not look anything close to what they advertise as a medium on DQ’s marketing materials. I blame myself because I keep returning hoping for a better experience, but you’d think the ice cream and ingredients were coming out of the staff’s paycheck. I will not be returning any time soon.

This place is pitiful and unprofessional. Went through the drive thru, and I added one extra thing at the window because I forgot. I was told to pull up and wait while they cook it. 20 minutes later a young girl with dark hair brought my food in a disgusting dirty food and ice cream covered bag. She handed it to me laughing saying “sorry the bag is gross!” Spend your money somewhere else…

Was in drive-through for 20 minutes. They were out of pecans. Ordered a peanut butter sundae. Below is the picture less than 1 teaspoon of peanut butter on the sundae. I asked for extra and said I would pay for it and got nothing but attitude and a cup of peanut butter was handed to me to take home and put on my Sundae I will never go there again run by a bunch of children who could care less

My burger bun was hilarious, I loved when it’s crushed (no I don’t, it’s ridiculous) the service was horrid and the “manager” of the store is incompetent when it comes to a good attitude or proper treatment. I get it that fast food is stressful but you’re really gonna be snippy and rushy to someone with issues? I don’t know DQ….

Horrible experience this evening. Ordered a cookie dough blizzard, Oreo cupfection and a pumpkin pie blizzard. We received a blizzard with no cookie dough in it, a cupfection with no Carmel or chocolate and so much marshmallow topping you could hardly eat it and a toffee thing with pumpkin spice on top instead of a pumpkin pie blizzard. Tried to call several times and the phone call won’t go through just says the line is busy. No one’s sweet tooth was satisfied this evening.

Extremely slow drive-thru and filthy outside.
Wow,… 2 for $4 has ZERO quality control. My two ‘chicken strips’ weighed less and were smaller than the dipping sauce packet?!?! The DQ in New Kensington is closed for season, perhaps this one should as well. Really awful to serve this to a frequent customer.

“This never happens so I don’t know what to tell you.” Coming from the owners of the business. ‍♀️ ummm I bit into RAW chicken, tell me how you will make it right!!! She tried to tell me, “it hasn’t happened so I don’t know how to help you.” Wasn’t a fun night for my stomach!! Will never go back to this location or anywhere close!!

Getting a DQ cheeseburger used to be a treat! Today, the service was terrible, no smile or thank you at the drive thru, genuinely unhappy looking employees but still couldn’t wait for my cheeseburger.

Luckily I opened it in the parking lot before pulling away. There was wet pink juice on half of the wrapper, which was alarming. This led me to take a closer look at the burger and tear it in half. The meat was pink!

I took it back inside, gave it to a young lady who asked another young lady something and came back and said they would make another one for me. Great! But, no apology, nothing about the inconvenience.

The 2nd young lady, who was also the ‘cook’ had headphones on and also must have been working the drive thru, handed me my burger…again, no apology. I asked if she was the manager, she said she was; I asked if she had cooked the pink burger, she hadn’t. I asked if she saw the meat and the messy wrapper and she said “no, I made you another burger.”

I get it, you have teenagers working for you…great that there are still some that will work, but what is DQ’s protocol for handling undercook meat served to customers? Not a thank you for coming in, sorry this happened, would you like a refund or perhaps a small cone for the inconvenience. I’m not looking for a freebie and would t have taken a cone but a coupon for a free burger on a future visit…anything? Just a blank, smileless expression for patronizing a business. Sad!

Just an overall unpleasant experience all the way around. Sorry, DQ, won’t be back.

Just read all of the generic automated responses from the DQ ‘relations team’ for other problems. Oh well, the public will read the reviews and eat their burgers with caution.
