Old black bacon! The staff pulled bacon from a fry basket on the table, it was obviously old and overcooked. After inspecting my sandwich, I asked for my money back, which the older man (cashier) was rude about it, then called over the manager in the black shirt. This guy made numerous unnecessary comments, but eventually gave my money back. That’s all I wanted, and I left…
Could be a whole story, but rude staff and would you want to eat that old, nasty bacon? It’s a health hazard. I paid $15 for a burger and fries for you to serve me garbage, nope…give me my money back.

Excellent burgers! I love how they don’t have screens that distract you from enjoying your meal and company. Watching the kitchen is like clockwork and what McDonalds wishes it was… Good burger, good shake, fries are OK, not the best – but they fry it in peanut oil which is why they taste different – it’s cool that they have peanuts lying around as a reference.

Prices don’t scare me off anymore, but I get it. That’s a tough one if you are feeding a family, or even just struggling a bit. My biggest issue and why I stopped going to Five Guys and Burger Fi, and Shake Shack, was not because of the prices, but because of the kids cooking the burgers. If I am paying 23.00 for a burger and fries, I damn well want somebody with some life experience cooking it. At least someone who cares.
I felt like I had fallen victim again because this location was all kids. Well, here comes another careless piece of ground beef. However, not so much. The burger was exceptionally prepared and topping were proportionate to the bun. The fries were rushed, not awful, but either rushed or oil was added and not brought up to temp.
The place was clean and tidy. My only complaint were too many Massholes in attendance. No excuse me, or help wiping their table, peanut shells all over the floors, people leaving their trash on the tables. Entitlement is strong in this area. So entitled they are oblivious to how poor their mannerisms and action are.

The burgers are excellent! The problem is with their french fries, this is three times in a row they come well done and dry!! This time I called ahead and told them make the fries medium and tasty…I called after I got them the woman manager told me this happens when they are busy?? I told her that’s no excuse, you want to be busy, you should never sacrifice quality for being busy!! If this five guys is even remotely busy, go somewhere else. The employees have no sense of urgency and I waited 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches and fries – at a “fast food” place, that’s totally unacceptable. I had to ask twice to make sure they even had my order. There are better places to get the same greasy food quicker.

This chain was great about 6 years ago. With the cost of a burger here youd expect higher quality and service. My last visit here was enough to make me tell people to avoid this place. My burger was soo greasy and oily youd think it was dipped in cold fryer oil. I make the lettuce wilt immediately and the bun was a oil soaked mushy sponge. This all happened within 1 minute of my order number being called out. The literal time it took me to walk 15 feet grab the bag and walk back to the table to unwrap the burger. I was not the only one with this issue, at least 2 other people adjacent to me were grossed out by their burgers greasiness and after one tried to bring it up to someone at the counter they were told its ground meat and fat, of course its going to be a greasy mess. The other person and myself just threw out food away. Ironically we all went to Jersey Mikes.

Mother’s Day lunch was superb from the time of making reservations, to seating, to drinks, to ordering meals, and check-out. Pomegranate mimosas were excellent, as were the key lime begnets.

Five guys cooks your burger to order they prepared it exactly as you wish. Many free toppings included. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the fact that they fry in peanut oil and not seed oil makes a big difference for people who have issues with fried foods and seed oil. As we are in our 50s and 60s we realize foods fried in seed oils can cause digestive issues. Free refills on drinks, peanuts to eat while waiting for your meal is a big hit.

I haven’t been to a 5 Guys in about 5 years, and it didn’t disappoint.
Still amazing burgers and fries plus I got myself a peanut butter, bacon shake. If you haven’t had one, do it.
