I’ll start by saying service was fast and friendly. The food quality was questionable at best. My calzone tasted fine but was pretty skimpy. The thing that really bothered me was the Italian hoagie that I ordered to bring home to my husband. If I had opened the box before leaving I would have sent it back to the kitchen. My Italian grandfather would be livid if there was chopped deli ham on his sandwich. The meat didn’t even cover the bread.

Staff members were very attentive, food was served promptly. Avocado hoagie was really good. Restaurant decor is great place is very spacious and clean, outdoor dinning is really nice.

Literally had to stop going here because time and time again the food and service were messed up. I could name 5 different specific occasions with this being the case but decided to try one last time and was again in disbelief with the horrible service and food. Waited 20 min for a waitress then 30 for food after that. They brought out the wrong food for one of us and my pizza looked like this. Used to love this place too.

I order from here once a week every week for lunch, and it’s a great experience every time. I love the food, and they always have it ready to go as soon as I come pick it up. They’re always super nice as well. Lex is super friendly and helpful!

I have a group of friends that meet at Mellow Mushroom just about every Tuesday afternoon. We play Mahjong, have lunch, and socialize.
STEPHEN, the manager, has always been so accommodating and friendly to us and that is a huge reason why we return. We appreciate being welcomed and valued as customers. AND… The food at Mellow Mushroom is excellent! My favorite lunch is the Holy Shiitake pizza. Delish! The kitchen folks do a great job doing what they do! The waiters and waitresses are so kind and efficient and they treat us like family while they give us outstanding service!

I have had such an unbelievably bad experience at this specific location SO MANY times now, that I am compelled to write a review to warn people and admit I have no idea why I kept trying to make it work. Last time I tried to place an order for pickup my 12 year old witnessed the phone call and was stunned.
DO NOT Use this location for pick up under any circumstances. Everything from being hung up on, to rude people on the phone, to nobody, seeming to understand what they’re supposed to do or how to take an order, to food coming out wrong, to a disgusting amount of certain sauces or ingredients ruining items, to not getting the order right, to overcharging…I could go on. It has been years and this location cannot get it together. You have been warned. Place your order at the Shallowford location instead.
