Nice comfortable atmosphere. Many smiling faces to help me get seated with house chips and salsa then my order being taken promptly. The food came out rather quickly with the portions being huge with the flavors being very tasty. Facilities and parking lot clean tidy. Nice meal, thank you.

I came with low expectations. Last time i was here was a few years ago and it was downright disgusting. Decided to give it a try.
My server was super friendly and the food was great! A complete turn around from last time. Food came out quickly. Well worth the visit.

Wow! I am truly shocked at how many great reviews this place has, because it is truly TERRIBLE!
We love trying new restaurants and I thought we would give this place a shot. But this was hands down the worst Mexican restaurant that we have ever been to.
They advertise house made chips and salsa and it’s like they cracked open a jar of Chi-chis salsa and poured it into a small bowl.
We had a California burrito and it was completely tasteless! The sauce was metallic tasting and inedible. Even with lots of salt and hot sauce, it was horrible.
Their ‘horchata’ was nothing but plain rice milk with LOTS of sugar.
I also ordered food to go for a family member who wasn’t joining us, and I made the mistake of not checking this order before I left.
Combination chicken steak, shrimp fajitas, and that would be the picture attached. $17 for a tablespoon of rice, a 1/2 teaspoon of cheese and literally a few pieces of meat.
I recommend going anywhere else! In fact, there’s a great Mexican restaurant in Fennville and their food is amazing!
On another note, I understand that there are very few restaurants around this area, which I would have to imagine is the only possible reason people would even consider eating here. But we will never be back! I would rather drive an hour to eat anywhere else.

I went with my dad. It was our first time there. The interior is really nice with beautiful tables and chairs.
The service was fantastic. Our servers name was Jenna and we were very impressed. Especially once it started getting busy.
The only reason this is a 4☆ instead of a 5☆ is the food. The portions were big and the prices were great, but the food was bland. Not all of it. The enchiladas were great, the quesadillas were surprisingly good, and dad actually enjoyed his refried beans. We enjoyed the freshly made tortilla chip, salsa, and cheese dip…but the tacos were boring, the tamales were underwhelming, my refried beans were runny and lackluster, and the red sauce simply added heat without flavor.
We’ll be back to try out more. It could have just been an off day. I do recommend giving Malias a try. You’ll definitely leave full.

Service was fairly fast and friendly.
I had the chicken mole and it was more spicier than chocolatey, which was an interesting change. Better, the chicken was not overcooked and dry, as it can be.
The wife had chicken fajitas. Again, the chicken we well prepared and not tough which it can be when cooked wrong.

Burrito and encheladas were great. Loved the cheese sauce. Hardshell taco shell was quite stale. Taco was not that good because of that. Salsa excellent. Tried 3 times to get a to go box and server just ignored us. Finally just paid and left food. Wont go back.
