Ok, I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I try to be honest with all of my reviews.
This is the secomd time we’ve visited this location in Troy, AL. On both visits, we’ve had “not so great” experiences. I say that in the most respectful way possible. On the first visit, sometime in October, the food we ordered was cold when they brought it to our table. We didn’t complain and just figured it was a fluke, everyome has an off day. But today, it was even worse. We had four people in our party and everyone ordered grilled fingers as a part of their meal. After paying and sitting at a table for about 5min, a worker came to tell us that they were out of grilled fingers and there would be a wait for them to make some more. She asked if we wanted to get fried fingers instead. Well, we’re trying to eat healthier so we declined and said we’d wait for the grilled fingers to be cooked.
After maybe 5 more minutes, she brought out two of our plates and walked away. Both my daughter and I received cold chicken fingers and luke warm cheese sticks. I didn’t say anything because I’m pretty easy going. My daughter ended up not even eating her chicken because she described it as “freezing cold”. I didn’t say anything about it but I was disappointed. After about 15 additional minutes (over 20 minutes from order to table), they brought out my wife and son’s food. My wife said hers was almost “refrigerated cold” and my son said his was ok, but not hot. We’ve visited this location and both locations in Dothan, AL. Dothan had delicious and hot food. Troy is zero for two now.
I don’t understand the difference, but Troy has failed us on two different visits. We’ll likely skip this location in the future. If we don’t make it to Dothan, we’ll just take our business to a different restaurant in Troy. It’s unfortunate because we love the atmosphere and we want to support a Christian based company. But we won’t do so just to receive cold food.

I stopped for lunch and got a sampler before heading to the beach and when I got a few minutes down the road I opened the box to find half my meal missing. I got one grilled tender that was cut in half and was missing my other three tenders and a cheese stick. I called up there and talked to a guy on the phone and told him I was already a good bit out and had somewhere to be but I would be coming back through on Monday and he said that was fine and I could come back up there and they would make it right so fast forward when I got back into town I came back up there and told them the situation and the manager came to the window and told me they weren’t going to fix it because it wasn’t the same day. As someone who worked in the food industry, you always make it right for your customers. The way the manager went about this was completely wrong and they will never get my business again. $17 for a meal that half my food was missing is crazy.

The drive thru window service is absolutely terrible. I understand not wanting to be at work but having an attitude with customers is asinine. The young lady with the blonde braids (hair is super cute btw) has a TERRIBLE attitude and is very rude. Thats unacceptable. Also, apparently the speakers do not transmit properly because she got my entire order wrong while she was taking it and after I got to the window.

I placed an order through drive-thru for 2 Super Samplers. When I got home, the tenders that’s apart of the meal were missing. I called the restaurant and the young lady I spoke to was extremely apologetic and pleasant. She asked me to bring the order back and get the part of the order that was missing. I explained to her that I would expect the entire order to be made over because I had to travel back to the store. I went through drive-thru, they took the old order and pulled me up to wait for the new order. After a brief wait, the young lady brought my order out to the car. I checked it before I left, and again the tenders were missing. I went in the store and explained to her again the my order was wrong and that the food was cold. Again, very apologetic, however, when she went to explain the problem to the cook, he refused to remake the order. She asked me would I like a refund and one of the other employees interrupted and told her just to give me my money back. I have been a consistent customer here, but the service that was rendered and the lack of professionalism was RIDICULOUS!! I will not be returning and hopefully they can clean up their service and be more respectful to their customers. I gave them 2 stars for the young lady I spoke with on the phone.

The wings were good. Nice size. Not the little mini wings some places offer. Servers were very friendly. Booths were kind of worn down which is why I did 3 stars for atmosphere. However, overall I’d give them 4 stars. I would eat there again if I visited Troy in the future.

I enjoyed my grilled chicken wrap, the service was fast and efficient and the dining area was comfortable and clean. Really pleased with the quality of the food and the value. I recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch while driving home from Florida, just a random pick from Google so had no idea what to expect. This place was amazing! The counter staff was great, recognizing we had never been to a GoldFingers before, took the time to answer all our questions and guide us through the menu. I ended up getting the sampler with chicken strips, fries, cheese sticks, and toast. They didn’t let me down! I tried the Buffalo sauce, which is mild and tasty, one with the honey BBQ, which was pretty standard. They delivered all our food in great time and we were back on the road quickly. If I’m ever in Alabama again, I’ll stop by!

The best part of our visit today was the gal who took our order. Wish I got her name! She was friendly, funny, helpful, and very kind. We talked to her about how we were from Nebraska and had never been to a Goldfingers, so she was very helpful through our ordering and patient with our questions. We ranged in our orders from the sampler, wings, tenders, and nuggets. Everyone was happy with their order and the quality of food. The atmosphere was welcoming and the bathroom soap smelled good. Would definitely come back next time we’re in town.
