I don’t know how this restaurant has such good reviews. This was the most subpar meal of my monthlong excursion through Montana. Maybe it’s due to it being shoulder season in Big Sky. My mother couldn’t eat the “mushroom risotto.” It was an odd hodgepodge of vegetables and rice, nothing like a normal Italian risotto. The waiter knew she didn’t like it, but had no comments. I ate some and wish I hadn’t. My steak was mediocre with mashed potatoes overloaded with butter and oily vegetables.

Best meal we had at Big Sky. Nice wine and beer selection. Kale salad was amazing, as was the pork chop and shrimp entrees. Trish, our bartender/waitress, was super friendly and took good care of us.

Amazing food here. Most of the stuff is made from scratch. I really enjoyed the bison the most, but the elk, duck, and beef tenderloin were really good as well. The desserts were some of the best I’ve ever had. Sea salted Carmel truffle homemade ice cream was amazing paired with the homemade apple pie. The huckleberry key lime pie tasted so fresh! Our server Brent was amazing as well. Kudos to him to make it an amazing experience.

Brent gave us amazing amazing service. The food was exceptional. We had the elk we had tenderloin we had a duck, and we had the bison. Would definitely come back. Fyi don’t miss out on the huckleberry Keylime pie. Sea salted caramel truffle. Sooooo goooddd

Lots of recommendations so we checked it out. Couldn’t get a reservation online so we went early and lucked out on getting a table in the bar. Call out to Rick for excellent service. Started with the calamari app with Ginger Slaw, it was absolutely delicious. I had the beef tenderloin and hubby had the Elk medallions. Both were cooked perfectly and tender. Highly recommend.

Wow!! What a great night. We traveled from Wyoming to visit and enjoyed a great dinner. Everything we tried was delish. Sirloin, crab Mac n cheese, halibut special and the elk steaks. Service was top notch. Oh and don’t forget the dessert it will knock your socks off!!
We will travel back just to visit this great place.

Was not expecting this level in a ski town. One of the best pork chops I’ve ever had, better than Houston’s that’s perfectly cooked in a sous vide. Elk was also delicious. Wish we had found sooner in our trip. Small venue, so book reservation in advance. We snagged a couple bar seats. Drinks were great too.

Never had a bad experience here. This was our third time here and the food and service was wonderful. They accommodated our group of 8 on a Tuesday night and we all had a great time. Halibut was the special and it was delicious! Other meal choices were the Tenderloin (Hubby had that and it was really good.) and the Bison pasta dish, lobster mac-n-cheese and the French onion soup – all with positive reviews! We saved room for desserts and they were all tasty too: crème brûlée, mud pie and I tried the strawberry rhubarb dessert – yum! I Kenzie was our server and she was fabulous. Every trip to Big Sky should include a nice night out at Olive B’s!

This place was recommended by a local and we are go glad she did. It was our 35th Anniversary and the food was amazing- eggplant Parmesan and shrimp and grits- both were excellent. Great choice of wines. We opted to go outside for dessert- much quieter. Lively ambiance. Liz was a great server and very attentive
