I tried to order a filet and was told that they were “out” and their truck delivery didn’t make it. That was disappointing. Instead, I ordered the chicken, which was just ok. The mashed potatoes with it were too runny for my taste. My husband got the Steak Frites. Again, just ok. He ordered it medium, it came out medium well. The Mac and cheese was super dry and had no cheese. The salad my husband got was the best dish we ordered. Drinks were good, although I don’t think there was much alcohol in mine. Mine husband liked his Old Fashioned. It was only us and one other table with 4 people in the restaurant. Atmosphere was pleasing. Definitely not 5 star though and not worth the prices.

Love when I travel to Fort Worth for work, because it means I get to stay at The Nobleman and eat at Duchess! It has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots in a hotel in Fort Worth. I’ve enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here on numerous occasions, and it consistently delivers thoughtful, delicious food in a setting with real character. The restaurant is located inside a beautifully restored historic firehouse, part of The Nobleman hotel, and that unique atmosphere makes every meal feel special.

Breakfast here is a treat, with elevated classics like Turkish eggs, omelets, and creative morning bowls that are fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to start the day. Dinner showcases a seasonal, New American menu that highlights local Texas ingredients from shareable starters and inventive salads to wood‑fired seafood, house‑made pastas, and standout entrees like the Lucky Pig or perfectly cooked steaks.

Service is friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming vibe that keeps me coming back time and again. Whether you’re here for a leisurely breakfast or a relaxed evening dinner, Duchess strikes a great balance of elevated cuisine and warm hospitality right in the heart of Fort Worth. Highly recommend it!

This was absolutely one of the worst meals I’ve had. I normally don’t even give a one star. Me and My wife went for Valentine’s Day to check it out. The wedge salad was just the bottom half of iceberg lettuce, covered in little dressing and what I believe to be dried tomatoes. Is my wife put it tasted like dirt you couldn’t cut it you couldn’t even eat it. With the utensil they provided. The chicken was cooked with the skin on which made it slimy and gross and unedible Steak was OK to start, but it was like they had added smoke flavor with a sauce to it and then it was just completely salty and one of the smallest filet mignon I’ve ever seen of course I wasn’t able to finish it either do this flavor. The red velvet cake was decent, but their yogurt dessert was frozen. Was absolutely one of the worst meals I’ve ever had . Neither of us finish anything , presentation look like it was gonna be great . Looks were deceiving And it was supposed to be a pairing with wine we were not even offered any type of pairing.

I went with a friend and we thought we would give this restaurant a try. We were not let down. I was a little sceptical at first because of reading other reviews. We both were blow away. Our server Robin could not have been better. We both order a salad. The Watermelon salad and I ordered the Ala Wedge salad. Both were beautiful presented and delicious. For our main meals I ordered the Texas corn & Ricotta stuffed Farfalle and my friend got the Center-cut Filet 8oz. Again both were delicious. For dessert we shared the Toffee Date cake, very yummy. I say give it a try and I think you won’t be disappointed. Also we had no problem with parking.

Have been here a couple of times already, it is a good, solid experience a couple of dishes have been a knockout (trout), but couple other underwhelming (pork belly). The menu is somewhat small. The place had a good vibe, good service and it is nice looking. The couple times we’ve been there have been pretty quiet and can get in without a reservation. Definitely worth trying.

Top Chef alum Casey Thompson hit it out of the park with this restaurant! Went for a business dinner and everything was beautifully prepared and tasted incredible. The wedge salad and peaches & cream dessert looked like works of art. The Ricotta Gnudi literally melted in your mouth and was to die for. The service was impeccable and Casey even came out to greet us. She is such a huge talent in the culinary world and Fort Worth is so lucky to have her. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Arrived to the hotel late one night needing food. Was happy to see there was a restaurant on site, but was disappointed they didn’t do room service.

I decided to go in anyway. Very limited options – but found something I thought I’d try. It was decent but not anything spectacular. While the chicken was good – the cheesecake was better.

While good – it is overpriced and limited options. It’s an entree with sides à la carte place.

Enjoyed the bbq place next door better the next day.

Had a nice dinner at the Duchess at The Nobleman. Typically, I’m not excited about hotel food, but I was meeting a friend and was pleasantly surprised.

We got the broccoli, miso Caesar salad, pasta and trout. All were very tasty!

I came here with my family on a Saturday evening, right around opening. Upon entering the front entrance, I was greeted by hotel staff and directed to the restaurant. The hostess, which I can’t remember her name, greeted us as well. Carlos, the manager, also came out to greet us. This made us feel welcomed, being greeted with genuine hospitality from the staff. We where escorted to our table, seated, along with a high chair for my nephew which Jose was fast to get for us and also help clear the table fory nephew. Dylan, our server for the evening, tended to us with great care in refilling our drinks, answering questions about the menu or hotel, and giving recommendations. The food was amazing, everything came out wonderful, presented nicely, and the favors were spectacular. The avocado pizza is a great shareable with a big group. Dylan also recommended the snapper crudo which I will have to come back another visit to try. I had the Lucky Pig which was wonderfully crafted with tons of toppings and salsa for the pork belly tacos. The side pork rinds and chili lime nuts were a nice side item compared to the traditional rice and beans I grew up with. My family said that each of their meal was great in favor and presentation. To finish off the experience, I ordered all three desserts to share with the table. Each of them where amazing and really helped complete the total experience at The Duchess. I will definitely be back to dine here with friends. They also have a nice bar area which I will need to explore on my next visit.

The food was very good! Started out with espresso martinis. Very sweet but delicious! The fried burrata was very yummy! Also got the tagliatelle and the roasted chicken. Both very good! Service was lacking, but that was fine since we were a table of moms looking to just talk the night away! The restaurant is very small and the noise was loud for very few tables.
