My husband was in Gonzalez working for a few weeks, so I visited him from Dallas for the weekend. We love wings and found Empire on Google maps. Nya was the sweetest most helpful person we met all weekend! She made excellent recommendations and everything was delicious. I probably won’t ever be in town again, but I would consider coming for these wings! We ordered Cajun Ajun and buffalo redipped with VJ fries, buffalo instead of BBQ.

4:18pm 03/07/2026I like empire wingz. When they first opened in gonzales I went alot! lol. I just recently had a craving. The wings look crazy small than what i’ve bought from them before .. and my fries were extremely hard. i was okay with the wings but the fries being hard like that nahh.. I dont believe they(owner or employee) would eat that.

I much prefer ordering from a local establishment than a chain restaurant, but I was very disappointed in my experience. I ordered on Ubereats, the driver was great but the meals were much less so. You can see that they were overcooked and had so little sauce I had to add Frank’s red hot. I also asked for bleu cheese and was given ranch, which, all in all not a big deal but considering the wings were not good I would’ve at least have like to dip them in the dressing I wanted. Attaching photos so it’s clear I’m not just being a Karen.

I love these wings!!! The staff is always so friendly and helpful when I’m there. I’m often helped by Nyah, she makes sure everything is hot, fresh and also ensures my ranch is in the bag lol. I appreciate her going the extra mile every single time!

Wings are great but will not sell a drink past 10:30. Claimed the drink machine was cleaned and drinks could not be served 30 minutes before they closed. The chef was nice but the lady at the counter had a bad attitude.

This place has the best wings I’ve ever had. The guy that took my order asked if I like wings I said yes sir he said well Im going to blow your socks off with these and he did just that. Awesome place try it if you haven’t.

I picked up a 12-piece with fries from Empire Wings, and it was amazing! I tried the Lemon Pepper and the Cajun Ajun flavors. The Cajun Ajun was hands down my favorite—smoky, a little sweet, with just the right amount of heat without being overpowering. The Lemon Pepper was really good too, but that Cajun Ajun stole the show for me. Great food, great flavors—I’ll definitely be back!
