Impromptu plan to get dinner while we were out, I saw this pizza place on my list to try. We got mozzarella sticks to start. They may or may not be homemade, but they were cheesy, hot and delicious. Boy got.a cheese steak with fries and a side salad and i got Gyro with lamb. Everything was good. I ‘could’ have added more tzatziki sauce, but I’m trying to be good. There was a nice portion of sauce, I just usually like a lot… dripping. Our waitress was nice and answered all the questions… it was our first visit. Prices were slightly more than I expected, but in line with other places. We will be back because I feel like we need to try the pizza. I would definitely recommend visiting.

7/1/24. My Daughter and I decided to check this place out. The atmosphere and size of restaurant were unexpectedly nice. Plenty of tables, an arcade area. And a massage chair. Next time we are bringing my Grands, they’ll love the arcade. The Pizza was DELICIOUS!! Their fries are gonna bring me back . The calamari was chewy, rubbery and well, couldn’t eat it. But the crunchy batter was good . Their hush puppies are slightly crunchy, light and fluffy. But their was DELICIOUS. Believe me, you’ll be stuffed when you leave, with plenty of leftovers, like we were and did. Service is not lacking anything. Drinks are self serve . Come check them out. See what I’m talking about. I’ll be back to try the rest of the HUGE menu ❣️

I can only answer for what I ordered. I was craving some good New York style pizza and this just was no where close to it. The absolute worst pizza I’ve ever had as it tasted and smelled like a bad frozen pizza. I couldn’t finish one piece so I filled up on the wings. I ordered mild Buffalo and the sauce was just splashed on them so you could tell they were not shaken or tossed in the sauce. The wings were edible but with a little more work ethic from the cook they could be much better. I wish I would’ve tried the Cheese Steaks because I won’t be going back. Hats off to the two ladies working the register and waiting tables, you guys did great and I’m sorry you have to work for someone that seems to not care about the future of his establishment.

Taste of NY Pizza was great! The service is amazing from the person who answered the phone for our call in order all the way through pick up. Everyone was super professional and nice. We had the meat lover’s pizza, wings, and cheese sticks. The pizza was really good, my husband liked the wings, and the mozzarella sticks were hot and gooey. We will definitely go back again.

Well it’s not my cup of tea but if you like the disk sausage on your pizza instead of real country sausage then this pizza might be for you. The crust was cooked perfect! The young waitress kind of forgot about us and left my glass empty which makes it hard to eat hot pizza! I would sadly say domino’s pizza might be better which is a.sad statement to make!!

I ordered the lunch special with the pizza! Literally took one bite of the pizza and it was disgusting. Told my waiter about it she go get the manager “Krystal” and I explained to her the food was nasty, let me remind you I eat here on a regular and never had any problems in the past! I’ve worked in a restaurant before I know if a customer complains about something you make it right with the customer. She says the only thing she could do was give me “10% off” my pizza, what’s $1.10 off a meal ??? When any other food place, would allow you to replace it with something else on the menu with out a problem and without an attitude. I would’ve been ok about it if I could’ve replaced my food with something else but I’m forced to pay for something and literally cut one slice of pizza in half and took 1 bite… and the pizza was cold ! NEVER AGAIN !!! Do better!!!

As a native NY’er, now retired here in beautiful NC, one of my most favorite foods that I miss is the pizza. It’s been difficult to find good pizza until yesterday. Taste of NY Pizza In Roxboro comes damn close. We had a margherita pizza with pepperoni and a delicious house salad and let me tell you-it was really, really good. The waitress was such a bubbly sweet young lady-very attentive.. The portions were plentiful and there was enough for lunch the following day. It was just as delicious the next day. Also, the owner, Mario, was nice enough to bring us a complimentary order of zeppoles (fried dough) with powdered sugar.. That brought me back to the good ole days. There were enough zeppoles in that order to stuff my face and still had enough left over to bring home to have with my coffee. I’ll be going back, for sure, and I will recommend them to others. I’m not gonna lie and say there are not other decent pizzerias, but, I will say, in my opinion, these guys are the best in this area, and I’ve tried all of them around here. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed !! Also, the prices are more than fair.

Really impressed. Got grilled chicken salad, Philly Cheesesteak and baby pizza.
Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were crisp, fresh, and full of flavor. Chicken was tender and juicy. The steak roll was fresh, crisp, the ceesesteak itself was perfectly done. Pizza crust was nicely done, crisp, sauce was savory and not too heavy. Just the right amount of cheese.
