We had a really nice family dinner here. The server took very good care of us. We started with a complimentary sampling of the dinner special. It was tasty, but we had our sights set on other menu items. We got the mole chicken, fajitas, and chille rellenos. Everything was delightful. We wanted to share the churro sundae for dessert, but they were out. We’ll be back to get our just desserts!

Date night happened at Senor Peppers. Handicap accessible from west side of building, ramp from back/west side of building to front of restaurant to avoid stairs. Pleasant and clean, staff wearing masks and hand cleaner available. Take away menu online. Food tasted really good. Tacos Mexicanos is superb. Generous with chip and salsa! Delivery available in town(City of Oregon).
Update for second visit: No longer need masks. We received some Lentil soup with our corn chips and this lentil soup was DELICOUS! Added photos of the Tacos Mexicanos(chicken) and Shrimp and Crab Chimichangas.

I love Señor Peppers! Delicious food, Great atmosphere, and Awesome customer service. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the food is very authentic…not food from a chain restaurant. Last night I chose to go there for my Birthday dinner. I had their Mexican Enchiladas and they were delicious. The waitress was cheerful, friendly, and efficient…and she brought me a small margarita for a birthday treat. I will definitely be going back soon!

Update since reopening: Unfortunately, this place has gone way downhill. I ordered steak fajitas and they are ‘meh’ at best. Under-seasoned, lukewarm, and dry. Sour cream and guac has to be added on for an additional cost. The menu is very scaled down with prices up for less food (quantity and quality). Everything is basically a la carte.
Then there is the service… Our waitress literally hid from us. The other servers seemed attentive to their tables, so maybe we just were unlucky. But ours was on her phone and peaked out from around the corner a few times, saw us just sitting there, but didn’t even check on us. We watched three other tables also with two people get seated, order, eat, pay, and leave, all while we were waiting for our food and to pay. She asked if I wanted a box twice and took 10+ minutes to actually bring it to me. Very frustrating and annoying, especially since it was hot in there (AC wasn’t working?) and we were clearly ready to leave. I hope whatever she was doing on her phone was important!

4:15 on a Saturday. Didn’t appear to be busy. Our food took an hour. One in our party of 3 asked for a burrito with ground beef, refried beans, and cheese. NOTHING ELSE in or on it. She received a steak burrito covered in cheese sauce. I went over this with our server more than once. Another person came to the table and asked about the order also.
We were disappointed and won’t be returning

Ordered 1 house chicken burrito ( mainly refried beans) 1 steak taco (meat was very tough) , guacamole dip. Food won’t kill you but absolutely nothing to speak about. The food has no seasonings whatsoever. Server didn’t understand the menu, couldn’t explain why so many people walking around (Oregon Fest this weekend), server comes right to table before you even sit down and really wants to take your order but never comes back at all. Had to have another server help us. Then server comes back after meal we say we are ready for bill and he proceeds to just try and take the money we had on table without me even knowing what the bill is. Good service. Good food. Somehow managed to make two more adventurous eating parents, as well as four kids who can sometimes be picky happy. Warm chips and salsa were very good. Fish tacos were okay, not much flavor to fish. All else was good. The outside of the building gave the impression it would be more stylish on the inside, but it was very basic. Reasonable prices, about $10 per person when drinking water, not counting tip.

The food was great. The service great despite being very busy and apparently short handed. Rated 3 out of 5 because our bill was incorrect we had been charged tax twice and when we mentioned to our server his explanation was “that’s the way it is” . If every customer gets double charged for tax then there is something seriously wrong.

Hi , We specifically ordered 3 of the tacos for carry out, NOT dinner per phone, reiterated 3 times. Person did not understand as we got dinner and charged the extra. Talked to manager, will refund difference if return food. Cannot recommend as poor customer service
