What a fabulous little place in this little neighborhood! The food was delicious and the lunch special prices were a real deal for the amount of food we got. The flavor in the pad Thai and massaman curry were superb. Probably the best flavorful curry I’ve ever had. The sushi rolls were fresh and also had great flavor. Will definitely eat here again!

This review is so overdue!! I discovered Kin Sushi 17 months ago when my go-to sushi restaurant closed before I could order. Because of the super late available ordering times and lovely menu offerings, I chose to experience Kin Sushi on that night. And I have ordered probably 100+ times since that first order. The sushi deluxe order provides 8 hearty pieces of nigiri, miso soup, and rainbow roll for $30. WOW. It is exquisite. I also love the salmon carpaccio appetiser!! Fresh, clean, hearty sushi!! The order always arrives with love and appreciation from the restaurant. Thank you so much, Kin Sushi!!

I order via Uber eats and I just had to leave a review. I could live on their sweet potato roll and Thai iced tea for the rest of my days and be happy. Also love the mochi. Every order I’ve gotten has been complete and packed well and you can tell it’s freshly made. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to actually make it in!

Amazing spot for a date night or casual lunch! Dishes are cooked to order and always arrive fresh! The noodle dishes are by far my favorite and the portions are generous but not ridiculously large! Staff is attentive and items come out quickly! No complaints or critiques other than the dining room can get a little crowded at peak hours but that’s a good problem to have

Overall Thoughts: This is a solid neighborhood spot for relatively affordable Thai and sushi— you can satisfy 2 cravings at once. I’d say both the Thai and sushi flavors weren’t as robust or vibrant as I would’ve liked, but I still enjoyed the meal. The staff were super sweet and the vibe inside is dark and intimate.

I have been here multiple times, as well as ordered through delivery apps. I am not sure why I have not reviewed this place sooner because I LOVE IT. I’m obsessed with their Veggies Crunch sushi, Thai Tea, and enjoy their Corn Korokke, Veggie Rolls, Tempura Apps, and Miso Soup as appetizers. I’ve brought others who have had Garlic Chicken, Chicken Katsu, Ramen and other sushi options and they all loved it. Totally recommend this place. There is a woman who serves us who is always very kind and attentive and I hope I learn her name eventually because she makes the experience better as well!

Definitely some of the best sushi in Chicago! I dined in and tried some of the sushi rolls, Thai food, and apps and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The sushi was better than any I’ve had in the city – even sushi that I’ve spent 3x the price on! This spot is affordable and authentic. I recommend the tiger roll – fresh and delicious. I also loved the fresh rolls for an appetizer – refreshing and healthy, as well as the pad Thai which lasted me 3 servings.
This is a great spot to takeout from, but the indoor dining area is cozy as well. This spot doesn’t have any frills, it’s more casual and laid back which makes for a relaxing visit. Definitely a hidden neighborhood gem! It’s also BYOB so keep that in mind! I had green tea which they continuously refilled to stay hot.

Service is so so nice! We really enjoyed the cashew chicken. The green curry has a spicy kick to it, but I personally didn’t enjoy the texture of the vegetables. The sushi was also great!

A great find for both Sushi and Thai food! I visited this place for the first time with friends and absolutely loved it. The ambience is beautiful, with plenty of plants creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and attentive. There lots of variety options on the menu, all at an affordable price with good portion sizes. We tried the cucumber salad and Philadelphia in apprtizers, volcano and sunrise sushis in addition to Kee Mao, all of which were delicious! Definitely a spot worth revisiting if you’re craving a mix of fresh sushi and flavorful Thai dishes.
