Stumbled across Acorn Brewing while headed South for the week. Was met with extreme hospitality and great conversation! The owner seems to have great character and answered our several questions about the history of the brewery and various stories with excitement and you can really tell he just loves what he does. He also is extremely knowledgeable in beer and I believe he brews all his beer himself. We had the ‘Why am I Sticky?’ IPA, and the Pumpkin Ale. Both were delicious.

They do a ‘mug for life’ wall where you can pay $1,000 to have a permanent mug on the wall and get to fill it up with beer for cheaper than normal. He donates the proceeds from that all to a no-kill shelter. And I believe there were around 70 of those mugs on the wall. A smaller brewery making that sizable of a donation is really really admirable and I think says loads about what type of people are running the brewery. We will definitely be back when we come through town again!

What a fantastic brewery find in this town! The staff is warm and welcoming, and the beers are excellent. Their sandwiches are a must-try—we had the Chicken Banh Mi, and it was absolutely delicious. A nice touch is the free packaged chips available at the counter. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for gatherings with family and friends. We tried the Hazy IPA and the Cream Ale, and both were flavorful and well-crafted. Highly recommend this place!

Acorn Brewing was a super chill, welcoming stop on our way home from Olympia. My beer was fresh and crispy, and the grilled cheese we got hit the spot. Service was congenial throughout and the space is large and inviting. 100% would come back if I were in the area.

Why would I come back: nice local brewery with a bar attached, so options for everyone. Nice collection of local beers in addition to the dozen house brewed beers on tap. Lots of style varieties.

The Chef Salad That Changed My Life.

I came to Acorn Brewing for a beer… and left with a spiritual experience in a bowl. The chef salad here isn’t just a salad — it’s a full-blown performance art piece. We’re talking crispy lettuce fresher than my grandma’s opinions, generous heaps of meats and cheeses that could make a deli blush, and hard-boiled eggs placed so perfectly, I suspect a food stylist moonlights in the kitchen.

Somehow, this glorious mountain of protein, veggies, and dairy still manages to convince you you’re eating “healthy.” It’s basically CrossFit in a bowl.

Pair it with a cold pint and you’ll achieve what ancient philosophers could only dream of: true balance.

If you don’t order the chef salad at Acorn, are you even living?

Enjoyable experience all around. Acorn Brewery pleases every pallet. The Connoisseur of German style beers or the trendy IPA and sours are all available there with some solid tongue and cheek humor for the names of their choices. Plenty of indoor seating space with some outdoor picnic tables available as well but not much shade. Appreciate the solid patriotic presence inside the brewery along with some old school beer labels that I haven’t seen in decades. Definitely worth a revisit after trying this six choice sampler.

What a hidden gem. Dropped by while waiting for my car service in Sumner and this place came up. The sandwiches are just delicious and the beer is dreamy. The hazy and IPA are both delicious and will definitely be back

What a great find passing through the area. Truly a neighborhood bar where everyone seemed to know each other but were friendly to an out of towner. Good beer and the food looked good as well.

Fun place to visit. The beer is good (although some names don’t match the flavors), but definitely worth stopping by for a beer. Great atmosphere and the staff is friendly and helpful. Food truck outside has good food too!
