I came here on a Sunday at 130 just driving through town, everything was amazing! We got 3 different special rolls, and all were fresh and yummy. My fiancé got the Box B, it’s a lot of food! I got the chicken katsu which was super yummy, it came with a vegetable salad and some rice. My mom got the dumpling soup and crab salad and she loved both! Service was good, bathrooms are clean. We will be back!

Went with my daughter and grands. The place was nice and clean. The bimbap was delicious, we had the sushi roll with seaweed and mango, the kids loved it along with their chicken katsu. The crispy fried dumplings were amazing! We were pleased. The Sushi man’s attitude was a bit “sour” not even a smile. But the female server was pleasant, she even stirred my Bimbap. Would I go back? Sure.

We went on New Years Eve and it was the worst dining experience I’ve had at a sitdown restaurant in years. It took my wife more than 1 hr and 45 min to receive her meal. The rest of us were served at all different times so literally no one ate together. The waitress was barely responsive and the owner didn’t care at all about her terrible service. It’s more expensive and lower quality than most fast casual restaurants. Avoid this spot and give your business to one with even some customer service.

I had such a great experience overall. I just so happen to be in the area and search stuff. This place decided to give it a try.
The food was phenomenal. Very tasty fresh the whole 9 yards. Our server was super nice and super attentive. The seating wasn’t the most comfortable being that it was just traditional wooden benches. But I get it because the decor in the restaurant is very traditional besides, that the place looks very nice the lighting and everything as you can see in the pictures the food that we’ve ordered.
All in all due to my experience, that totally deserves the five stars. Oh, and also, it was an expensive at all and the quality of the food was most definitely fresh. If I’m ever in this area again, rest assured, I will be back.

I truly love this place… The seating and the owners are just the best! The food is fresh and always amazing.. From the soups, the appetizers, the dinners, the sushi’s are truly prepared so well.. The Lobster Rolls along with the Mango Rolls are truly the BEST EVER… Short trip from Monroe to an amazing place… I truly recommend the food and the friendly staff… Everything is prepared fresh and well.. A+++++++++ to my friends at Magoya!

Went here for the first time today, was kind of thrown off by the outside wasn’t too sure how the food was going to be.
However as you walk in the ambiance changes, it’s lovely and welcoming . The service was great friendly staff and delicious food! Loved the options of sushi rolls they have! I’d definitely go back again and recommend it to people

Atmosphere was great and thought we gonna have fantastic experience here. We were wrong. 1st, the server would not bring a glass of water to my 5 year old. I thought she forgot and reminded her but still no water was brought to my kid. 2nd, it took probably 45 min for the miso soup to be served and forever for the bento boxes to come out. 3rd, the sashimi was a disappointment- the color and texture of the tuna were not good. 4th, I was charged extra dollar for the roll we ordered. When I pointed it out, the server brought out her notebook and said it was increased. I asked her to check the menu (because that’s what we were given to order food, not the notebook!) and I was right. She then said I could deduct one dollar from the tip… wouldn’t come again and won’t recommend anyone to come.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!. Not bad service – NO SERVICE! We had a 7pm reservation and were seated after 2 or 3 minutes. The restaurant was maybe half full. After over 25 minutes, no one greeted us. No one took a drink order. No one came over to say a word. Our attempts to flag someone down were ignored. We got up, took our time putting on our coats to leave and still, no one came over or said a word. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

Varied menu options, good mix of Korean and Japanese delights. I had the Mango Sushi, gimimbap and green tea. You can literally taste the freshness of every ingredient, crisp vegetables, delicious perfectly ripened mango with other herbs.
