I haven’t been to Kinder’s since 2016 and this food is still amazing. The restaurant/shop is almost the same with the exception of more seasonings and sauces. The original sauce is still the best for the Tri-Tip sandwich. I ordered the tri-tip and the precooked ribs; absolutely amazing!! I purchased the sandwich to have as dinner at SFO but it was late; I waited until the next day and it was still amazing after I reheated it. I also found that I was given an extra side portion of the tri-tip meat on the side. I picked up some extra seasonings that I was not able to find at home (Florida). Was it worth the drive from Sacramento? Absolutely just to pickup some Kinder’s; I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I work down the street and came in for a quick lunch.
Never been so I asked what was the best selling item. She said “the famous ball tip”
She notes it’s like a spicy pastrami.
Ordered it on Dutch crutch, comes with mayo, lettuce, tomato, mild bbq sauce, and comes with a medium drink.
Generally a good sandwich, well seasoned and a solid hot pastrami/beef sandwich. The bread could offer more crunch, was more like a soft crust. Theres a blazin ball tip sandwich which sounds like a spicier version, likely will try this next time.
Overall a cool quick deli/butcher shop. Interesting sandwich it’s and the sides, likely the Mac n cheese, looked great from the case.
I’ll be back for sure!

The tri tip sandwiches at kinders are always amazing to try. The potato salad was okay, but the beans were good, but not sweet baked beans, and were a great compliment to the sandwich. The sandwich is simple, with tomato, lettuce, meat, and mayo (even if you dont love mayo try with a little bit) – and when you mix that with BBQ sauce, I ask for the hot bbq, it’s absolutely amazing.

Second time I’ve been to this location, both times the wait was short. Clean, welcoming, friendly staff. Portion sizes are fair, and not skimpy. Both times I’ve had to get a to go box.
I ordered the 2 choice combo. It comes with two sides and a drink.
I’m not the biggest fan of red meat, however my ball tip was perfectly cooked and tasted good.
I don’t know what seasoning they used on the chicken but it was fabulous. Bacon mac and cheese is one of my favorite sides along with the tequila fries. The beans are good, and I add their provided barbecue sauce for some extra flavor.
Their mild barbecue is also my go-to at home

I stopped by expecting a basic experience as I was charging my car nearby. I was blown away by the customer service to start, everything was explained in a way that was easily digestible(literally) and the Ball-Tip sandwich recommendation was right on point. Sandwich was probably one of the best I’ve had in my life ,next time getting extra meat. Before heading out I was greeted by a different cashier, a young lady ,and asked her could I buy a single rib to try, after trying the ribs I know for sure this place is a favorite of mines now for sure! 5 stars!

I moved to Texas, the land off BBQ and brisket, but have been seeing kinder’s seasonings and sauces everywhere there. I came back to visit and had to have a sandwich. I got a ball tip sandwich a d it was as good as I remember. The meat was tender smokey and peppery and the roll was soft and delicious. The sauce was good as always and what I expect as I buy it regularly. As a person that makes, buys and eats BBQ regularly, this is still a good place to eat. Would recommend to anyone that wants meat.

This has to be the slowest place to get food. No one is in front of me and yet after 20 minutes no one has even taken my order. After 15 minutes I got one person saying sorry for the wait it’ll be only a minute longer.
Def not worth it if you don’t want to wait for 45 minutes to get your food.

Loved the Pulled Pork! It was very delicious and you get a lot of food for the price. The Pulled Beef was a little too salty but still tasty. I was disappointed with the service, staff weren’t very welcoming and got our order wrong.

Kinder’s in Walnut Creek is amazing. My last order was a double meat Tri-tip sandwich, I was surprised by the price but as a carnivore I was thanking baby Jesus for how stacked it was. The size and taste of the sandwich was perfect. Plenty parking all the time but the place Can be busy so I recommend calling in your order if you plan to pick it up and go.
