Man, oh man, the food was absolutely excellent. Although there’s a large variety of BBQ sauces, the meat is so soft and flavorful that sauce isn’t even needed (burnt ends, rib tips, brisket, pork belly, baby back ribs). The sides we tried were delectable as well (collard greens, mac n’ cheese, coleslaw, beans, and brussel sprouts). The service was quick, helpful, and done with a smile. The facility was clean, and there was seating available both indoors and outdoors. There’s just something about eating at a place where people pour their heart into their craft. Hope to eat at McK’s BBQ again soon.

Oh my gosh. This place was so good! We had a rack of ribs, Mac and cheese, smoked chicken wings, tri tip sandwich and cornbread muffins. Everything was amazing. We ate everything off our plates. You definitely want to stop here and eat.

Great portions, but the service is sometimes slow. It’s not due to them ignoring you though, it’s because sometimes they are so busy, and the two nice ladies that usually work there can only make food so fast! So I guess it’s a good problem? The brisket and pork belly tacos are pretty awesome. Parking is weird here, there is a lot right out in front but half of the spots are closed during dinner hours? Makes no sense

You know it’s good BBQ when the meats and sides already taste great before adding any sauces or other seasonings. This place is it!
The small dinner with one side dish for $15 was filling and delicious. Food came out pretty fast.
Seats about 20 at six tables inside and another 8-12 outside at two picnic tables. They also have a location in Liberty Township, plus do delivery and event catering.

Great local BBQ joint! A little bit pricier but expected of the area. They do everything in house and the meats are grilled to perfection. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food came out fast. I got the pork bomb which won some cincinnati taste award a few years back. Definitely lived up to expectations, lots of flavor and textures that worked well together. Loved that you could add your own amount of sauce too. Definitely check it out for a quick snack or a lunch break in between all that shopping!

Stopped by after we went to Braxton’s and I’m so glad bc this is the best bbq we’ve had in a long time! The service was amazing. The person running the counter answered every single one of my questions & made some suggestions about what I should try & what size.

The food is insanely well made.
Everything is delicious, even items I don’t normally like where delicious.
Sides are off the chain.
Corn bread muffin is huge and comes with a maple butter that is perfect..
The baked beans delicious
Mac and cheese has beer cheese and smoky….OMG need to stop in just for it..
Wonderful Coleslaw very nice and not too vinegar. The pulled pork is delicious and moist from the get go. It’s not dull or rehydrate after cooking. Its not fatty either… it is perfect…
If you like ribs then rib tips are superb option and super crisp exterior.
The Ribs are wonderful too. Very meaty with a nice char exterior that is not burnt.
Sauces are all very good.
Kansas style is good and Texas has a thick sweet heat.
Carolina style is very light mustard vinegar undertones with a sweetness on top. There where like 3 more sauces. But I forgot the names lol.
Stop in and dig in.

Friendly staff, great food, decent prices… All in the heart of Downtown Covington!!! Would definitely recommend to people who like hot fresh BBQ.

Amazing! Our family did a sampling of meats and sides. None of them disappointed! Make sure you ask for the hot honey on the coleslaw. It was SO worth it! Get extra, your empty plate will leave you sad.
