This has always been our go to for take out Chinese food. Tonight was disappointing. The hot and sour soup was mostly sweet, lacking in any heat. The three’ s company chicken was not great. The lemon chicken was very tough with mostly breading and little chicken and very few vegetables. And again lacking spice. But it typically is good, so could just be an off night.

Their Lo Miens are good but the best is their authentic Chinese food menu! I love the Salt and Pepper Fish and the Beef Ho Fun is the BEST, their hot and sour soup is delicious as well! I haven’t dine in but always order online to pick up and they are quick and friendly when i come pick it up or door dash it!

Shang Hai has the best Chinese food in town. We moved to the north side and will happily drive across town foregoing all the closer restaurants for their Pineapple Fried Rice! Today we had Pineapple Chicken with Jalapeño and Orange Beef. We’ve never had a bad meal at Shang Hai.

Ordered for our company party on Christmas eve. The food was good but not what we ordered. The delivery driver got overly upset when I accidently handed him 20 less then what the order was. he then shouted “are you serious this is all you’re giving me”. I immediately handed him the proper amount. after realizing what I had done and asked him not to get upset with me. I then called to correct the order they stated I “lost” the money and we ordered wrong. but offered us 20 dollars and said they would bring extra food to make up for it. That was much appreciated but when I called back to get a receipt they then informed us they would not be delivering the extra food. I understand not having enough drivers and it being the holidays but don’t promise what you can’t do or at least call and let us know you cant instead of me calling and finding out. I dont know if we will be ordering again. I don’t leave reviews often. I should state they offered for one of us to go and get the food but we couldn’t leave while on shift today. again understandable but I felt it could have been handled differently.

My friend and I started going here this year. We have been about 4 times now and everytime the food is delicious. Best Chinese food in Fargo. It tends to be not very busy when it comes to dine in but when we eat there we see quite a few people come for pickup orders. I usually get the General Tso bento box with the egg roll, lo mien and sweet and sour chicken. Everything in the box is amazing and perfectly cook and such good flavor! It is a great amount of food for the price and I always have leftovers. Highly reccomend!

The food is amazing as always, when I picked up my order the were eating their dinner and it smelled fantastic. I asked what it was and they made me a bowl to take home ( it was real Chinese food) and omg . I was treated like family and felt very welcomed. Best Chinese food in Fargo!!!

Placed an order for sesame balls, they weren’t as good as my first post about them . Picture can tell , it was still tasty ( so I am keeping the 5 star) , but they weren’t well coasted with sesame seeds as you can see. However it is the first time in years that I get a bad batch , so hopefully i get the same awesome ones that i normally get next time i order. I still like the place . Thank you

Food is always prepared well and arrives hot on delivery. I recommend the Singapore Style Chow Mei Fun. The appetizers can be expensive but a nice treat as well. A lot of coupons on-site for large family orders.
