Meat was excellent. Great flavor, char, and very moist. Service was excellent. Sides were basic. Atmosphere was plain, run down, and almost industrial. But don’t let that scare you. The meat is worth the visit.

If flavor had a mic, this place would’ve dropped it. The ribs didn’t just fall off the bone—they practically jumped off and straight into my mouth like they knew where they belonged. Every bite melted like butter, smoky and saucy in all the right ways. Honestly, it wasn’t just barbecue, it was a full-on barbecuracle. I had just finished a home cooked meal when family came through with brisket, chicken, sausage and the most fire ribs; I figured a little taste couldn’t hurt….I ended up having dinner TWICE, a taste just wasn’t enough. So we purchased dinner from here last night.
One thing that stood out to me was being charged for brisket when I actually got nothing but FaT.
One piece of fat was larger than a cigarette box by 2 inches same size.
Considering I purchased 1.5lbs of marbled Brisket.
I actually got under 1lb of edible meat.
Fat was so overwhelming for wjljat I paid.
Its a crime, unacceptable..
Brisket was good n so was potato salad.
Yet i didn’t get what I paid for food wise.

The service was excellent friendly and attentive. The sandwhich was loaded with juicy,tender brisket that needed so extra sauce or salt. My friend had the ribs and I tried them as well and they were also excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try the other selections. It was warm and inviting atmosphere.

I have been a Garrett’s customer for a number of years. I have followed them to every location. The new place has a good BBQ vibe to it. Its in a comfortable environment. Today I bought the 3 meat special – brisket, pork ribs, chicken, and had the smoked beans. It was all so delicious!!! Good job to you all I will be going back. This BBQ place was tasty and way better then most BBQ places around. Give it a chance give it a shot. Really good home made BBQ. Im so glad i live close by, smokey flavor ribs off the bone so tinder, brisket not dry with great bark, smokey sausages with great Homemade BBQ sause.

Girls weekend and wanted some BBQ. We found Garrett’s and it is delicious. I had the sliced brisket sandwich and it was moist, and smoked perfectly.The sandwich didnt need bbq sauce but I did try the sauce and it was tasty. The potato salad had a sweet flavor that was soo good!

We recently moved to TX and wanted to try some TX bbq. Garrett explained what makes TX bbq different than other styles. He was super nice and the food was really good too. The 3 meat plate was packed full of great flavors.
