The honey baked hams here are delicious. They also have sandwiches for sale for lunch. This is a free parking lot to park. There are plenty of tables and chairs to eat your sandwiches in here.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience at HoneyBaked Ham of Ocala.
I placed my order on December 5th for New Year’s Eve, well in advance, assuming that a company built on holiday meals could handle basic inventory planning. On the morning of December 31st, I received a call informing me that due to an “inventory issue,” there were no prime ribs left. On the day of the event. After weeks of planning.
I was offered a ham as a substitution, but we just had that for Christmas. At that point, I had no choice but to cancel my entire order. Yes, I received a refund—but that was the bare minimum, not a resolution.
This was not just dinner. It was my daughter’s 16th birthday, with 10 people coming to our home. Because of HoneyBaked’s failure, I had to scramble at the last minute and take the entire group out to dinner—at a significantly higher cost and with far more stress than anyone should have to deal with on a milestone birthday.
What’s most frustrating is the complete lack of accountability or effort to make things right. I emailed corporate and spoke with Brett again in Ocala. He literally said, I just don’t think I will make you happy. No gesture of goodwill.
HoneyBaked markets itself as a trusted holiday solution. This experience proved the opposite. If you’re counting on them for an important occasion, be warned: they may leave you empty-handed when it matters most—and won’t do anything to fix it.
I will not be ordering again.
Update 1/6: I was never formally offered a $50 gift card. We began discussing possible options, and the conversation abruptly shifted to being told that I “would never be happy.”
I work in the service industry, and all of my online reviews are 5 stars. I know what good service looks like—and this was not it. What should have happened on the day of the issue was simple: acknowledge that this was a failure and follow up with a gift card or coupon asking me to give your business another chance to make it right.
Instead, nothing was done. When I later reached out for follow-up, you jumped to the conclusion that I could never be satisfied.
As a small business owner, you may want to revisit Honey Baked Ham’s values and guarantee. While you may identify as a small business, you are operating under the umbrella of a national brand—one that understands what customer service and accountability are supposed to look like.

We just moved to Ocala and are new business owners. We were super excited to see a Honey Baked Ham here.
We walked in at 4:40pm for a fast dinner and was told they weren’t serving sandwiches because it was close to closing time.
Seriously? We close at 4pm. But if we have va customer…WE SERVE THEM!
Your closing time states 5pm. You serve until then and please your customers so they COME BACK!
As businesses owners, this was not good business practice or etiquette.
So you just turned away a whole company of business!

We just left , looking for a coupon we did not have one that help , then got a ham out , I though it was 149 to serve my family , I said 149 , 3 different times nothing but mosquitos in the air no help or promoting their product . So there was two cashiers the male cashier got the ham in the bone said it was cheaper since it had the bone , I’m like how much was the other oh 69 , I’m like ok I’ll do the other , dint you hear me saying 149 and you agreed with me but it wasn’t , no help at all . The Man or young man help the other felt rude , the young lady not very nice . I could have save money getting the meal but no help or inputs just bla bla bla . First time these happens , being going there for years . Just made me feel in a hurry and bad experience . Then she says did you see how she looked at me , yes I was displease , that’s when I said yes because you were rude . So her comment could have save us a discussion because I never said anything until she told that guy , you see how she look at me . Unreal .

Good food. I went in to get a ham bone for soup. They were out of ham bones. They took my name and number. I got a call a few days later and picked up my hambones.
Ended up getting lunch. The sandwiches were delicious. Good service.

I love this place but I can never order online due to them always being closed according to their status on DoorDash. Someone should really fix this. You are losing a ton of business. This problem has existed for over a month now.
