This Starbucks location has a lot of issues that need to be addressed. The biggest problem is the store manager, Ritchell who is extremely rude and sets a negative tone for the whole store. And when the person in charge acts that way, it affects the whole environment and it definitely shows. The staff comes off unpleasant, and the customer service overall is just not good. There’s barely any greeting, no effort to be friendly, and the customer service feels more like an inconvenience to them. It makes the whole experience uncomfortable. The store itself is often dirty, and the drinks take way too long to be made, even when it isn’t busy. It’s frustrating because the experience should be much better. This location could be so much better, but the lack of leadership and poor attitude from the staff makes it one of the worst Starbucks experiences I’ve had. I really hope corporate steps in and fixes these issues.

A very nice place for a cup of coffee and to relax
This is one of over 16000 Starbucks in the US and about 500 stores in Virginia. This site is located on the south side of Hoadly Road. This is a fairly busy road but it was not difficult to get to or leave from this location. It is in a shared building.. There is some parking directly around the restaurant and more in the adjacent parking lot. This place supports an indoor and outdoor seating area and a drive through. The outdoor area has about 2 tables and the indoor area has a bench with 4 small tables, a large long table and 3 tables of 4 along the window. The indoor is polished concrete floor, beautiful wood tables, wood walls, large artwork along the right wall as you enter and glass along two walls. The indoor and outdoor space were clean. You order and pay at the counter and your completed order is served at the end of the counter to the left of the order counter. As with most Starbucks, this one serves the usual assortment of drinks and light snacks. The staff was friendly and took our order quickly. They called our name when the food and drinks were ready. The coffee cake and banana bread was very good. Prices were reasonable for a Starbucks. It is a nice place to hold a meeting and have a cup of coffee.

This was my third time at this location. Twice I have ordered the impossible breakfast sausage without egg and cheese, and got all the way home to discover egg and cheese on my sandwich.

I figured I would give this location a third try since it’s convenient. This time I ordered a drink, and another sandwich. I emphasized at the speaker no egg, and no cheese please. I approached the window and received my sandwich. This time I looked at it before pulling off. Well it didn’t look appealing to me so, I told the guy I wanted a new sandwich. Another barista asked why was I sending my sandwich back he explained to her that I didn’t like the way it looked. Well the second sandwich looked just like the first one. Morale of the story I wasted my money and time because, I threw the sandwich in the trash. Would you eat a sandwich that looked like it was half cooked, and a chunk of the sausage was missing?

First time coming to this location. Terrible service! Waited over 15 minutes inside the store while other people walked in and out with their drink. It was not busy at all. But both baristas seem like they do not get along and speak so they were ignoring us and waiting for one to give in and make the drink. I was patient waiting as long as I did. I originally wanted to try the new drink on the menu the oat milk latte with lavender cream foam and matcha. I was told immediately that they didn’t have matcha. I was like that’s fine could I get something similar without matcha. Also got a hot blonde coffee. After waiting 15 minutes inside the store with no other customers that had ordered after us except for one other person who went inside to order right away and left with their drink. So I approached the counter and told the barista who took our order how much longer and she had the audacity to ask what my order was? I was so upset and let her know we ordered 15 minutes ago you gotta be kidding right while I proceeded to tell her my drink order. She walks over and said I’ll make it right now. She comes back and hands me one drink out of the two I ordered and I had to remind her what the order that is missing is so she can take an additional 5 min to make a hot coffee. I have never had this experience at another Starbucks. Both baristas can’t seem to get along and handle the drive thru window and in in person clientele. Even though it’s not packed at all. From what I told this is their new location and I will never come back the white girl seemed to have a better attitude than the Spanish barista who helped us however the fact that she was unwilling to make our drink and watched us stand up for extra time while we asked the other barista how much longer showed that she favored the walk in gentleman who placed an order 15 minutes after us and got his drink almost immediately. I don’t know if I can judge why she chose to do that but I just want to think the Spanish girl assumed the other barista was going to work on our order while she attended to the drive through clients. Because she would come back and make the orders for the drive through clientele while we waited pretty much like idiots for a total of 20 minutes for two simple drink orders. My drink tasted disgusting definitely watered down like the previous post said. People who work there seem to hate their job. That’s the complete vibe I got from this location.

Came here through the drive thru in the morning around 8-8:30am on 8/6. I ordered a tall drink through the mobile app while I was in the drive thru. It said in the app estimated pickup time was 3-6 min. There were 2-3 cars ahead of me which gave the team plenty of time to make my order. I got up to the speaker and told them I’m picking up a mobile order and gave them my name. There was silence on the other end for a bit. Then someone came back and said what’s the name again, and I told them again, then there was more silence following by a rude employee telling me that I should’ve order a few minutes before I got to the speaker. This makes no sense. This is not an appropriate way to talk to a customer telling them how and when they should order.

went to this starbucks location today and the gentleman taking my order at the drive thru was rude. after i ordered my drink, i said “and i also have a separate order but its a mobile order” he then proceeded to tell me, in these exact words: “you don’t need to say you have a separate order just say you have a mobile order”. which was pretty rude as he was telling me what to do/say. then, when i got up to the window the lady asked when i placed the mobile order and i said just now, she looked at us in a blank stare and sighed loudly.. i understand we placed the order late but she could of been more friendly. these workers are so much less friendly than the lake ridge and other locations!!!

This location is terrible about having things in stock. They are constantly out of ingredients and can’t make drinks. By far they are the worst at this in about an hours radius.
