Each time I’ve come here they’ve been nothing but kind and gotten my order correct. I get a 3 shot americano, light water, cream and sugar free syrups. It was finished before I even found my table by the window to enjoy some morning sunshine. My salad shortly followed with some of the most beautifully fresh produce and tasted amazing. If youre stopping in Detroit Lakes or are a local searching for a coffee shop with a filling menu, I would gladly point you within this direction.

A great place to grab lunch. Employees are very nice and welcoming and they were helpful as well. The menu is easy to read and there is space where you don’t have to be ‘in the line’ to view the menu too.
Parking, you will have to either park on the street or in the bigger parking lot in the back. It’s very easy to find parking.
Food. Food isn’t bad at all. Got the sandwich below and it was more than enough for lunch. Price is good for what it’s worth and given.
Atmosphere. A good place to chat but if you want quiet and peace, I would not recommend it. There is WiFi available here, which is very convenient if you need it.
Overall, a great place to try out if you’re in Detroit Lakes. Double check the hours to see when they are open.

This place is amazing! The owner is so nice and all the staff is wonderful! They have so many choices for coffee, you can get pretty much whatever you want. My snickers latte was amazing. The food was really good too. They even have a cute little gift shop. Amazing!
DO NOT GO TO MAIN STREET RESTAURANT!!! Come here instead. The prices are so much more reasonable, they actually take card, and I can just order like a normal restaurant without having to keep 500 arbitrary rules in mind, unlike the place across the street.

I love La Barista. Great owners, great staff, even better location (believe it or not). I don’t even drink coffee but I get the energy drinks and meet people at La Barista several times a week. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone!

It is a hit or miss every time I go to this place, this time it was a miss, my drink was a blended white chocolate mocha. It was a regular mocha and it wasn’t really blended enough. Sometimes it is really good but it is 50/50.
