It’s nice to have a restaurant in Great Bend with a variety of food. We came in for lunch on a weekday and were the only customers when we entered, but quite a few people showed up while we were eating.

We ordered the Pad Thai, Cashew Nut with Chicken, and Panang Curry with Tofu. All of the dishes were delicious and had large portions. There was also the option to order from the lunch menu, which included an egg roll and a bowl of the soup of the day along with the main meal. It did note on the menu that if you get the lunch special for takeout it does not come with soup. There were five different spice levels available ranging from mild to Thai spicy. Unfortunately, we think the spice levels of two of our dishes were mixed up. The Pad Thai was ordered as a level three spice and seemingly had no spice and the Cashew Nut Chicken was ordered as a level one spice and was “very spicy” for a mild spice level. Additionally, the Cashew Nut was quite skimpy in terms of the amount of chicken, but had lots of vegetables (especially onion) and was very saucy.

Other than that, all of the food was good. Service was also quite quick and the waitress was incredibly nice and attentive. The interior of the restaurant was clean and you definitely receive a good amount of food for the price. I would definitely like to come back and try some of the other dishes!

This local family owned authentic Thai restaurant has become one of my favorite spots for a casual, reliably good meal. The atmosphere is simple and relaxed, and the staff is friendly without being overbearing. It feels like the kind of place where regulars are known by name, and newcomers are still treated well.

The food is consistently delicious, and the portions are generous. This is comfort food. The Pad Thai is the standout dish for me—easily some of the best I’ve had. The noodles are cooked just right, the sauce has a good balance of tang and sweetness, and the dish doesn’t rely on excessive oil or sugar to make it taste good. It’s straightforward, well-seasoned, and exactly what I want when I order Pad Thai.

Other dishes hold their own, too. The mango curry is so unique and has a nice kick without being overly spicy. The fried rice is simple but flavorful, and the appetizers, especially the spring rolls, make for an easy add-on if you’re sharing plates.

Overall, it’s the kind of restaurant that doesn’t need to brag. The food speaks for itself, the prices are reasonable, and everything feels thoughtfully made. If you’re looking for good Thai food or just a beautiful, wholesome home cooked meal, this is a great place to go.

I was greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. Ordered pot stickers to start. Came out hot, fried to perfection and very flavorful, especially with the included sauce. Phō was great. Rice noodles were good, beef was perfect. Bean sprouts, lime and jalapeños were a very good addition. Broth was amazing. Very flavorful and hot. Also had a la carte kung pao chicken. It had a perfect mix of chicken, red and green bell pepper, onions, carrots, water chestnuts, and peanuts. Lots of flavor. The sauce was good. The steamed rice was soft but not mush and went well with the dish.

This place is very good. I’d say it deserves more than 5 stars, especially being in small town mid America. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend anyone eat here.

What an awesome lunch surprise! Had the lunch size chicken Pad Thai spice level 3. The portions were huge and I intended to be taking some of it home. That notion disappeared with the first bite! Excellent spice blend and the slightly chewy texture of the noodles was a great improvement over most places that over cook their noodles. Bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy. Will definitely be back.

Just wanted to add an update on a recent lunch visit on Nov. 15, 2024. I ordered the Thai Style Sweet and Sour with pork from the lunch menu. This was not the usual version of sweet and sour commonly served at Chinese restaurants. Instead of the more common neon orange sweet an sour sauce that hits your senses with cloyingly sweet followed by tangy acidic sour, this Thai style sauce had very subtle sweet and sour flavors that did not overwhelm the fresh stir-fried veggies. And the pork was not the usual heavily-battered and deep fried chunks, but just simple bite-size slices stir-fried. I ordered it with simple steamed white rice, but noodles were also an option. The meal included a crispy spring roll and a cup of soup. The portion size was ample for a lunchtime meal. This Thai Style Sweet and Sour was such a refreshing take on an old Chinese favorite that it will likely become my new Sarocha favorite…at least until I feel the need to explore a new adventure on their menu! See the photo below.

Anyone who follows me knows how much I love Thai food. The food was not bad. Pad Thai was decent. The chicken today however did nothing for me very thin sliced fried instead of grilled and came out as four pieces instead of 5 as stated on the menu meat was tough very thin if I were to go back I would try something different. Overall not bad but not great either.

So I was visiting Kansas, and called to order a take out. I asked for Vegetable Pad Thai, Ice tea & Thai fried rice, and she said okay 30 mins and quickly hung up.when I got there it was Literally empty so I don’t understand why she was rushing on the call. I didn’t check the bag, while I was in the store, and when I got home, I find that she gave me a side rice. The pad Thai did not look like the picture either. It was dry and terrible in taste. One of the worst ones I have ever had. We did go at the end of the night so it seems like no effort was put into making it.
