We love this place first time coming to it since the change of name or owners. I will say they need to go back to serving yourself on buffet. I personally do not like it and it seems like it really stresses out the employees serving it. Other than that great place to eat.

First time eating here. We read the reviews and figured we’d check it out. Thankful we did. We all loved everything. The buffet was full with a lot of choices…the fat back….well that was a little slice of Heaven…comfort food. The desserts would put some pounds on but yummy . The staff were friendly and down to earth. They interacted with our two year old and that was also very important to us. Just a little country restaurant with a big personality.

Great local place and I guess based on the reviews, it’s reopened. They offer breakfast buffet served cafeteria style and bacon – chewy or crispy choices. Biscuits, huge, fluffy with a great crust, gravy with or without sausage, home fries, sausage patties, fried apples and grits, or you can order from the menu any breakfast you’d like. If you want eggs with the buffet those are made to order! They offer Pepsi products and brewed iced tea. They’re unsweetened iced tea was amazingly good! We wish we would have found this place sooner, it would have been our BLD meals while in the area! It’s just across NC/VA line in Cana, VA.

The review from Sean Plankey is an outright lie. Up to March first our menue was the white one. The only sticker on it was near the omelet vegetables as they forgot the price. The club sandwiches are clearly marked with the price and are two tier high they also come with fries and coleslaw, but you are allowed to substitute other items. No one has ever came pleading especially not to the owners. To claim they were taking it out on a server trying to make a living is pathetic and sad. The new menus with our prices came out MArch 1 st. No prices were ever raised before this menu. Keep your lies somewhere else it takes an immoral person to do something like this. Make sure next time you lie on a business that they can not call out your bull and show the truth.
