Busy night = 15 min wait to sit and another 10+ for service (to clean the table you hover over to snatch and bring menus). Because it’s seat yourself, not sure how well the waitresses are able to keep up (dislike that part most). Loved the Caprese salad app w/ fresh basil. Veal parm was good and spinach ravioli was ok (not much seasoning). The free garlic bread was so tasty (next time I’ll order red sauce to dip it). Marinara was thick and flavorful but the Alfredo was very thin and runny. Fair prices. Muffaletta is next on my list to try. Everything was fresh and service was friendly. My advice- go early, well before you’re hungry, and don’t be in a rush. (Not sure if they do reservations, definitely if offered.) Wanted the snapper, but they said takes longer to cook and we were too hungry.

Phenomenal food and great service. By far one of the best if not the best Italian food I have had. Including the restaurants in Little Italy in New York. I highly recommend this restaurant for any and everyone. Can be very romantic as well if you like that. It’s a must try.

My wife and I have ate here twice. We heard the food was great and I love small local resturants. When we entered the resturant I was put off by the smell. I know its an old building but maybe they could do something about that. On this first trip I had the muffaletta and it was not bad just not as good as others Ive had. I think the muffaletta at Jonnys is better and thats not saying much. However, we did decide to give it a second try and order something different. On the second visit I ordered the lasagna and when the waitress put it in front of me I knew by the smell I was not going to like it. It did not smell like any lasagna I had ever had. And sure enough after two bites I could not eat it. The marinara tasted unlike any I had ever had, and I dont mean that in a good way. Plus there was no cheese, I thought lasagna was suppost to have cheese. I will say the service was great but Im not a fan of the food. We will not be going back.

We went as soon as they opened for our anniversary dinner, and it was amazing! The place filled up quick, the server was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was wonderful. One of the most real experiences we’ve had around Monroe in a while, good people and great food. Such a homey atmosphere, already planning our next visit.

I do not know what happened but the flavor of their sauce has gone down hill. It tasted awful! Grocery store sauce out of a can taste better. Also, their meatballs had a rank taste. I can mention their meat balls and my wife starts gaging. I promise that it was that bad. Please fix it. Y’all used to have pretty good food.

Waited 1 hr and 50 min for a pick up order, that was suppose to be ready in 30 minutes. Wasn’t even compensated in anyway. The portion sizes were 1/4 of the normal amount, but FULL price. Not to mention when we got our food the order was wrong. Forget trying that process over again. The food was cold. I’m sorely disappointed. Not what I was expecting. I had ranted and raved about how great this place was to my friend. But their first impression ended any further experiences, lost a customer.

My boyfriend and I went there to have a night out together. We decided to sit out on the patio instead of inside. it was almost dark when our waitress took us to our table. I order the Shrimp Primavera and my boyfriend order the Visit with Italy. We loved our waitress, can’t remember her name, but she was a hoot
