Best Mexican food ever! I ordered the fajitas and they were absolutely mind-blowing. The salsa and the hot salsa were both incredibly delicious. Chino went above and beyond to make us feel right at home — he was the sweetest! Jarlin, who served our food, was extremely kind as well. My daughter and I enjoyed everything so much and will definitely be recommending this place to all Mexican food lovers. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Went to Tres Nopales for the first time and had a great experience. The food was great (I got the mushroom taco dinner, Mexican style), the service was quick and the restaurant itself is really nice. Very affordable prices, too.

Arrived early on a Tuesday night, ordered regular Mexican tacos with beans rice and was one of the best platters served. Steak forward (they didnt skimp) and so tender, fresh radish slices…ask for the verde and the smoky chipotle sauces too..
hahaha *pic 5/5

Really well seasoned food! Tried the enchiladas, amazing! Price is reasonable and portion size is huge. Love it!

Food was good, maybe a bit on the salty side. Portions were generous. My reason for the 4 stars is due to the food being salty, the plate I received was chipped in several parts so it didn’t look good. The bathrooms were dated and messy. Also, when you go to the bathrooms, the area next to them is very messy and full of things stacked, which doesn’t give a good impression. Service was great.

Great margs and great food. The staff were friendly, attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. I absolutely loved their nopales and pastor tacos and the people with me really enjoyed their burritos.

The food itself was really good in general, minus the salsa tasting a bit too sweet and the guacamole including some external parts of avocado. The best part was the fresh cactus! They cut it up and grilled it. It is not pickled cactus. I appreciated the garnishes on the tacos, too! Prices were fair, but the service was a bit slow in terms of drink refills and bringing us the check.

Had a decent experience at this Mexican restaurant. The fish and shrimp tacos were alright, though not exceptional. The beans didn’t quite suit our taste, and the Chimichanga was okay. However, the Horchata and Tamarindo were really good. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. The prices are similar to other Mexican restaurants in the city. Overall, it’s a nice spot for some Mexican food, even if it’s not our top choice.

Tres Nopales is hands-down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Champaign-Urbana area. The staff is amazing, friendly, and attentive. The cheese dip here is a favorite. I highly recommend the horchata too. My favorite entres are the enchiladas supremas and the T-bone steak Mexicano. If you haven’t been, definitely check it out. 10/10!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Mexican restaurant was very nice. The staff very friendly, service was a lil delayed may be due to staff numbers low. Food was excellent if could make it better I would add some salt and spices but it was authentic Mexican so it was tasty . Ambiance was good, the restaurant is like a cave a long line of tables. Over all it was a good experience of Mexican food and recommend families if you like Mexican food.
