The combination plates (lunch or dinner) are the winners. The sweet & sour chicken with the sesame chicken is fantastic! All the sauces are good, but can be overly sweet. That becomes noticeable before you finish the entree. I really like the fried rice. It’s surprisingly good.
The service is always friendly. It’s family-owned, which adds to the overall appeal. It’s a small dining room, but there has always been an open table. Doing takeout is an easy process, and the food quality holds up during transit.

I tried Janbo 1 time after original owner sold out and was very dissatisfied with the food. I always thought Janbo was good prior…a go to for pick up dinner on my way home. I thought I would give it another shot…thinking maybe the first time wasn’t good because new owners were just trying to get in the grove. NOPE, I ordered takeout on my way home. The fried shrimp were over done, the ham fried rice had 3 pieces of ham in my husband’s serving and zero in mine. The veggie lo mein had minimal vegetables and not very flavorful. The general Tso was ok, the sweet and sour chicken was way too greasy. So disappointed and will not be returning.

Use to be my favorite Chinese place. But they’ve gone down hill in terms of food quality. Maybe a different chef these days. But they have no clue how to cook steak.

This was a good stop. Fast service and the food was good. Small dining room but we were the only ones there at the time. Most people enjoy takeout and are in a rush. I recommend getting there early and making the time to relax and enjoy your food. You will definitely enjoy your time more and the food more.
