Notice: If you want pho, they only make it Saturday and Sunday.

This eclectic restaurant brought everything I wanted and more. It’s super remote location, quirky signage, a little shrine, outdoor and indoor seating and fantastic food.

The food was super fresh, the lady who served me was very friendly and I will return here without hesitation or doubt.

The standout, however, is undoubtedly the Pho. It’s clear that Tinh & Lan take pride in perfecting this iconic Vietnamese noodle soup, offering a broth that’s rich yet balanced, and noodles that are cooked to perfection. Pair it with their refreshing Vietnamese iced coffee for a true taste of Vietnam.

Neat little place outside of Alice. The food was good; we shared the Vietnamese combination steamboat, which brings a grill and pot of very good tasting broth to your table, a big platter of various raw meats and veggies, and you cook it yourself. It made for a fun activity that our 3 year old could enjoy watching. The garden view, including the fountains and fish tanks were neat. We ate in the outdoor garden seating, which was great and the weather was perfect too. There wasn’t much of a beer selection, limited to pilsners and light beers, but there were some wines and cocktails too. Very good feel from the atmosphere and staff. Only one other table had guests, but it was also early dinner on a Tuesday night.

Not even close to best Vietnamese meal I’ve ever had..by quaint all the same… we were warned not to ask to change tables… but we risked it without retribution… food was average only… served by a French backpacker who put food on table and said.. that’s the number 200 your order… “ I don’t what it is”… has the reputation of being the Vietnamese equivalent of Fawlty Towers… and well deserved apparently

Authentic Vietnamese meals. We loved it!!! Truely made us feel like we were back in Vietnam, if only for a few hours.

Enter the premises through a pair of marble lions and walk a short vine covered path under many giant gourd’s and pass by a large marble statue of a Vietnamese (perhaps Buddhist) women, said to be ‘she who hears all cries’ before you reach the restaurant door.
We chose to sit outdoors were there is a large undercover seating area surrounded by gardens and fish ponds. The lighting and sound of running water were very relaxing.

We enjoyed number 11 Vietnamese salad, number 114 spring rolls, number 66 chicken and number 73 seafood combination. All were delicious and contained fresh food from the couples own market garden, located on the premises.

Tinh’s service was extremely friendly and very prompt. He kept our meals and drinks coming at an expert pace, allowing us enough time to enjoy the atmosphere but not so much time as to be left wanting.

The coffee is authentic Vietnamese coffee made with condensed milk and a percolater. A must try for any coffee lovers.

Located approximately 15kms South of Alice CBD, the restaurant is not hard to find at night as it is very well signposted from the highway and only two turns to make.

Tinh was very knowledgeable about the plants grown on site and we hope to be able to grow some of the things ourselves with the help of some seeds purchased from the restaurant.
