Whopper Jr: dry bread looked about a day and half old, ‘Where’s the Beef? reaction was instant’, fries had no salt whatsoever…nice and healthy; mini ice creams free for kids was a nice gesture but they were pencil size; fish sandwich looked a bit meh as if frozen and quick reheat and pasty (yuk), had to ask for condiments. Most tables were dirty to a point where we had to use toilet paper water and soap. Customers want a clean place to sit and eat a meal that looks palatable. Especially in near Clairemont/Balboa area, this should not be happening here.

I just turned my grand kids on to Burger King. Few and far to find one. I lived Burger King when I was in my 20’s it’s been 40 years since I had one and the Wopper hadn’t changed a bit. Even my g kids remarked how big the whopper was. Loved it. Will go back again when fast food bug hits.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger online to take advantage of the free Whopper with a purchase. The Whopper was tasty, juicy, and had a fair sized beef patty on the fresh bun. The bacon cheeseburger, was salty, dry, and had a very tiny beef patty on the fresh bun. It was the worst bacon cheeseburger I’ve ever had and surely will never order one again. Update: Used the special offer on the BK app for a free Whopper with the purchase of the new Ch’King hand breaded chicken sandwich.
The Whopper was good as expected. The chicken sandwich was very good. It is a worthy entry in the fastfood chicken war.
The chicken fillet was tasty, tender and juicy, with the perfect amount and texture of breading. My current Chicken sandwich ratings based on taste are #1 Chick-fil-A, #2 Popeye’s, #3 A Tie between Burger King and KFC. Update: Tried the spicy Ch’King hand breaded chicken sandwich. I was able to watch it being made. They put the regular Ch’King chicken fillet in a little tub and they squirt the hot sauce on one side, flip it and squirt the hot sauce on the other side. This results in even coverage of the sauce. The sauce has a nice spicy heat balance. Then they make the sandwich just like the regular one. The chicken was tasty, so BK retains their fastfood chicken war #3 spot after Popeye’s. Update: Ordered the 2 for $5 sandwich special through the app. This location does not honor that special, so they gave me the buy one get one for $1, which came to $7.19 before tax. I got two of the Big Fish sandwiches. The name is misleading, they seemed very thin and small for the price. McDonald’s and Arby’s have better fish sandwiches. From now on I’ll stick to ordering what they do best, Whoppers and Ch’King sandwiches. Update: Today I ordered a Bacon King and two Whoppers. All 3 sets of buns were stale and crumbled when picked up. The Bacon King Sandwich is supposed to be topped with a hearty portion of thick-cut smoked bacon. Instead it had two thin short pieces of bacon like you get on a bacon cheeseburger. Today’s meal was unacceptable and I reduced the stars accordingly. Update: Got the Deluxe Spicy Ch’King sandwich, and a regular Ch’King with added light lettuce and onion. The Deluxe was not worth the extra cost, given the sparce lettuce and very thin tomato slice. I recommend sticking with either the spicy or regular Ch’King, or a Whopper at this location. Update: Got the “Let’s get this bacon” combo, plus an 8 piece chicken nuggets. The Bacon Whopper Melt had a fair amount of bacon and caramelized onions, and was very tasty. I would definitely get it again. The fries and chicken nuggets were just ok. The honey mustard dipping sauce was good. Update: Got a Whopper and 8 piece chicken nuggets. Whopper was very good and nuggets were ok. Update: Got the Spicy Ch’King sandwich. It was excellent. Update: Got the free cheeseburger deal with a hamburger purchase. Both were good, since I customized them to add tomato, onion, and lettuce. Update: Got a Whopper. Excellent as usual. Update: Got a bacon cheeseburger and a hamburger. Both were good. Update: Got a Sausage Croissandwich. It was good. Update: Got a double patty Whopper Jr. It was very good. Update: Got the breakfast sausage, egg, and cheese croissant. It was good. Update: Got a rodeo burger. It was good. Update: Got a Whopper. Excellent as usual! Update: Got a cheeseburger. It was good.

Clean with nice staff. It is time to start using trays again to show respect for dine-in customers. Several locations were told by the owner not to use them, it ruins an otherwise good experience and I see far fewer customers.

This Burger King is located on Balboa Ave. There was no line when I went for breakfast. I used my BK offers for a sausage crossaint and a regular. Coffee for $4.00 . That wasn’t a bad deal at all. The service was good and food delicious .

The food was good but the wait was very long. This might be the slowest burger king I have gone to in 50 years.

The staff was lovely. Especially for a fast food morning shift. Other places employees are grumpy in the morning.
The employee that helped me made sure I had everything before leaving.

Ordered the chicken, bacon and Swiss out of the fryer. Fries were hot, chicken patty not so much. Not a huge fan of mayonnaise either. Service was quick, and employee at register was nice. I guess my mistake was comparing this chicken, bacon and Swiss to ARBYS chicken, bacon and Swiss. Next time I’m craving this sandwich I will surely go to Arbys. Sorry

PLEASE DO NO EAT HERE. SAVE YOURSELF. I just went to the drive through here. Once I got home and ready to eat I found mold all over the top of my bread. You should not have to pay for food with money you worked hard for and given slop like this to eat.

WORST FOOD!!
I placed an order on Grub Hub to be delivered on my lunch break. My lunch break is 12:00-1:00. Estimated delivery time was 12:30.. whatever. 1:00 rolls around, and still no delivery. I called customer service to find out what was going on. They said it will arrive at 1:07.. finally came at 1:15. So I thought OK maybe Grub Hub’s fault. I opened my bag to find a BURNT, MOLDY, WILTED chicken sandwich. I tried calling the Burger King location directly, and no phone available. Literally worst experience of my life.
