Had dinner again at Asian Fusion in Pottsville Tuesday, 27 January 2026. We had dined at Asian Fusion last Saturday and could not wait to return. The food and sushi was that good ! Food was GREAT again ! Previously, my wife had the edamame appetizer and the peanut butter chicken while I had the shu mai appetizer and the hibachi shrimp. I also ordered three sushi rolls to go. Ordered were the dinosaur roll, smoked salmon cucumber roll and the salmon avocado roll. Everything order was tasty and spot on ! This time, my wife had the crab Rangoon and the hibachi chicken while I had the shrimp tempura and teriyaki salmon with a side order of fried rice. Ordered to go the dragon roll, shrimp avocado roll and the yellowtail avocado roll. All three were prepared perfectly. Have been a very avid Asian food person for more than sixty years. I also frequently make sushi at home for our own enjoyment. While the other two sushi restaurants in the Pottsville area have been around for a while, they just never quite measured up to what I have experienced elsewhere in the US and overseas. Asian Fusion nicely meets both our dinner and sushi expectations in taste, quality, service and pricing. We both enjoyed our dinners again along with the sushi so we will certainly return to the Asian Fusion to enjoy more of their excellent offerings.

Dinner at Asian Fusion with the wife was delicious!
The food is great and, now that the madness that was opening weekend is over, the service and speed of getting the meals is phenomenal. The first two days were a nightmare for everyone. Those of you who may have tried it Friday or Saturday of last week and not been impressed, I encourage you to try it again now that they have had a chance to figure everything out.
Even tried some new foods! Soup dumplings sure are tasty…. But a sure fire way to burn your mouth! Had the hibachi steak, minus the mushrooms. And the juice was delicious on my fried rice. The General Tso’s was yummy!!
We ate here two nights ago with the kids and they had sushi and I got the sesame chicken. The kids even had their sushi rolls made special with extra fish eggs.
I definitely recommend asking what is in the dish you are ordering if you are not familiar. Ramen is not going to go over well with kids expecting yellow noodles like grocery store ramen! Get them a side of hibachi noodles…. Or play it totally safe and go with the chicken nuggets and French fries

Just visited this place with my daughter and it was honestly the best experience. We usually have to travel to Wyomissing/West Reading to get food like this. It was perfect, quick and the atmosphere was calm . The ramen and sushi is so good. The menu had variety and the staff were very kind. Highly recommended and I will definitely visit again!

Such a great experience eating dinner tonight!! We did bite into the sushi before taking a picture, so good! The ramen we got was also so filling and delicious. The staff were super friendly and so nice. The prices were awesome especially for how much food we got (and how stuffed we were when we left). I’m glad to have such a delicious restaurant in Pottsville and that they were able to utilize that building in an awesome way!! Happy to support another local business and cannot wait to go back and try more of their food.

Pretty unique spot. Food is better than the other local asian restaurants. Fully renovated inside while nodding to the former diner by keeping most of the metallic decor. Service was great and all the staff was friendly and helpful for navigating the menu.

I think the people who left negative reviews either jumped the gun or genuinely have no idea what good food tastes like.
I always wait to judge new food businesses until they work out the kinks. Nothing is perfect when you first open. That being said… me and my husband have been there twice so far and everything we’ve tried has been delicious! We have been dying for a pho place! We get their chicken pho and it’s sooooo good! Very good flavor. The sushi is perfect and I am super picky about sushi. Personally, I think theirs is the best in the county so far. We have also tried the peanut butter chicken. Also delicious!
The staff is very kind and you can tell the owner really cares! Asian Fusion has definitely become a new favorite in this house!
