The food was amazing!! I truly have not had such an amazing meal in a long time. I will be dreaming of their Italian sausage flatbread, salmon risotto and apple cobbler tonight 🙂 20/10 recommend.

My husband and I came here on a whim for an impromptu late lunch. We ordered the sweet potatoes biscuits with ham, which were decent but dry. I ordered the roasted honey nut soup. It was decent, though there was something bland or missing with the taste. We both ordered the Cheddar Cheeseburger, one medium, one medium well. We waited an hour for our food. Yes, an hour. At some point, I’m sure after sensing our frustration, our waiter advised the burgers weren’t made properly and apologized. By the time we received the burgers, I didn’t have the energy to fight. One was medium well, the other well done. At least it was good quality meat and was presented well. I didn’t enjoy the fries, as it was the super thin shoestring type that had soaked up a lot of oil (presumably sitting during the wait).
From start to finish, the service was extremely slow and honestly, no one seemed to really care that we’d been waiting for an excessive amount of time. I wanted to love this spot as it was a cute space, with a cozy environment, but I don’t think we’ll return.

Hoped for the best after reading the reviews, but unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. We waited a hour for starters and 2 hours for entrees (which were burgers and sandwiches…). Food was meh. My burger was extremely rare after asking for it medium to well. Sent it back, they cooked it, and put it back on a blood soaked bun. Both of have tummy issues today. We will never return.

I only did takeout, but the warm welcome I received set the tone. Once I got home and we dug in we started raving – the agnotelli, pollock, and chicken were all cooked to perfection. The warm spinach salad was balanced, and the mascarpone cheesecake was the perfect finisher.

Second visit and we invited friends this time. All went well and everyone agreed the food and atmosphere were great! Our friend said it was the best pork chop he’s ever had and we all love the unique version of tots as an appetizer. Another friend wanted to hog all the crab dip! The only complaint I have is that I requested a certain server when I made the reservation by phone AND in writing on the RESY app but did not get my request.
Our server ended up fine but I didn’t understand this oversight since the restaurant was only at about 50-60% capacity at the time.
We will return to check out the fall menu!

Never have I been so sick after eating raw oysters. I would avoid at all costs. The goat cheese salad was awesome, service reasonable but that is far outweighed by a week of severe illness necessitating urgent doctor visit and now antibiotics. Eat at own risk

I live down the street from River Bend Bistro and have enjoyed their food a few times in the past, but today was anything but enjoyable. My wife and I ordered lunch there to go and when we returned home with our food, my burger was cooked on the outside and RAW in the middle. I took it back to the restaurant and showed them the mistake and instead of making me another burger that was cooked to medium rare, they took the old burger and just returned it to me…unsure if they actually put it on the grill again or not. Very disappointed and will not be going back again to get a $16 uncooked burger. See picture to see how raw the meat still was after my second go around.
My wife’s Salmon and Lentils also tasted off…like the wine wasn’t cooked out of the lentils. Very bad day for River Bend.

Fabulous at brunch, lunch and dinner. Waffle with delicious sausage, cheeseburger, amazing steak and cheese (a special not on menu) and duck are fabulous though my husband has his own set of favorites. The staff are like family that you love, Chef Caroline is unparalleled!

Great little spot, cute atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The value of the menu’s prices was surprisingly good for the area. The flavor of the food wasn’t anything to write home about, but we still enjoyed it and want to come back to try some other dishes! The coffee and desert was delicious and our favorite part though!

Service was great, the food not at all. Ordered a cheese burger cooked medium, but it was cooked rare. The sandwich of the day was steak and cheese, it was a soppy mess. Both had no flavor. Would not recommend.
