Besides having homemade and amazing food, you couldn’t ask for more attentive service than what our server Addie provided. Relaxing comfy atmosphere neat and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

I wanted to meet a friend here for lunch, and decided to check the food out beforehand. Im glad I did, because it wasn’t worth it. I paid over $30 for just me, and I could have just saved my money. The chicken sandwich I had was cold, like it was supposed to severd chilled. It didnt tatse like anything great, grilled chicken on a pretzel roll with tomates, spinach, cheese and Dijon. It left loads of room for improvment. Maybe, serve it hot for starters, and some crisp turkey bacon or regular bacon, add some red onions or even onion crisps?! It was very lackluster, but cost me $15. And the pretzel bites were ehh. I could have just picked out a frozen box of pretzels, heated it up and it would have been the same. I’m also not a fan of being served plastic plates when im dining out. If I’m about to spend $30 a person, I not expecting plastic dishes. Now, there were a few good things about this place, (but not enough to save it from a one star review) it was small and pretty quiet, felt more like a little cafe rather than a brewery sandwich joint. The staff were timely and friendly, and I thought this was going to be a great place to catch up with an old pal. I really wanted to like this spot, but the food quality is not worth it. I would not go back, and I would not recommend.

I had the clam cheddar cheese soup and he had the pepper jack tomato bisque soup. Both were delicious. I had a half whooping crane sandwich (turkey on pretzel bun)and he had the half Salty Eagle (ham on pretzel bun). While the sandwiches were fine, The soups are the real stars. They also gave us a pickle appetizer. The waitress was great. The food is a little overpriced but the soup is worth it.

The atmosphere and service were great but the food was honestly horrible. Like we left wishing we hadn’t eaten anything. We spent like $60 and the only thing we actually wanted was the drinks. The soup was like it was canned or something and it was separated and my husband said he barely got down what he ate of the burger. But the people were nice…..

Enjoyed a couple of good brews and some appetizers with my wife this afternoon. We were in the taproom. The atmosphere was quite inviting. Our bartender CeCe was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the cheese curds and fried pickles which were both appropriately crispy and well seasoned. The cheese curds were served with a marinara sauce and the fried pickles were served with a horseradish mayo. Isaac’s has definitely started to change it’s image as a sandwich shop. Definitely worth checking this one out.

The kids menu was a hit! Two kids in our group ordered the PB&J, which came with rainbow bread and marshmallows! They both loved it! I liked the fact that we could get healthy sides for the kids, like applesauce or carrots, instead of chips. I had a veggie wrap that I enjoyed. The prices were reasonable, I recommend this place for families!

First I must start my review with the BEST bartender we’ve ever had, Ms. CeCe! What warm welcome she gave us! And she explained all the beer items that seemed a little mysterious to us. But talk is one thing so we tried the beers. All but one amazing beer didn’t suit our palate, a bit heavy and sweet, but that one beer, wow! We took two crowlers home! #1 on the menu, right where it belongs, German Pilsner Hartman’s Hero is clean, flavorful and refreshing. One could end with it being the last flavor, no chasing with a chip required. Truly impressive! We thought we’d found our lifetime favorite beer at another brewery but this ONE tops them all. Bravo Isaac’s brewer. You have done it! Amazing! Now to speak in the food… I was licking my bowl clean of the spicy tomato soup and wished I’d ordered a bowl instead of a cup, wow! Hubby got the Reuben sandwich with fries. Perfection! So clean. Outside dining that is lovely. We will return again and again! PS if you’re a guest at the attached Hotel, Isaac’s will offer you a discount.

Went to Lancaster to visit family and when our granddaughter suggested Isaac’s, we were all in! I miss the Isaac’s we used to eat at in Hummelstown. This Isaac’s was closed for renovations, which included a brewery to open some time in April. I miss the decor of the original Isaac’s with all the bright colors and flamingos and pretty birds. Also the fish tank is now gone. I guess this decor is the sign of the times, but it appeared so sterile. Our sandwiches were still pretty much the same with a few exceptions that have changed. I ordered my favorite Dr Browns creme soda, which they hadn’t received in yet and some of their dessert menu was also not available. There appears to be outdoor seating once weather gets warmer.Service was slow this visit. But all in all, there is an Isaac’s close by when we get to Lancaster.

The sandwich I got was very good. It certainly fit the “Craft” description in the Restaurant name! The Mallard is an excellent choice, however… all things considered the meal was overpriced and under presented.
I got a sandwich with chips and water (they brought out a complimentary… uhhh, pickle salad?) and paid almost 18 dollars for just that. And the chips were still in a bag! (Fries were $3.50 extra)
It was a delicious, overpriced meal, worth trying once, and would probably go again in a couple years when I forget how much it cost.
4 stars for a good sandwich
2 stars for barely being worth the price
=3 stars

I’ve had pretty good meals here. I was very disappointed, last night, I ordered the Grilled Honey Dijon chicken salad. Everything was great, except it only contained 3-4 pieces of sugar cubed sized chicken. Did the cook eat the rest? I even gave a 20% tip for carry out, it should have been caught.
