Mesiba is a Tel Aviv-inspired restaurant and bar in the South Williamsburg neighborhood. Meaning “party” in Hebrew, Mesiba takes inspiration from the diverse flavors of Israel, animated by the celebratory “breaking bread” culture of the Levant. Open for dinner every day, Mesiba features contemporary shareable plates and innovative, vibrant cocktails in an eclectic and lively design-forward atmosphere, taking its cues from Tel Aviv’s Bauhaus architecture. The dinner menu encompasses the melting pot of Levantine cuisine, with signatures including frena bread, oysters, baba ganoush, crudo, whole fried seasonal fish, lamb neck, and knafeh, plus a full bar offering unique cocktail options, wines by the glass, beer, and dessert cocktails.

Overall just a great experience!!
didn’t get to take many photos but will be back.
Love the atmosphere here – clean, calm, and beautiful. To drink, I loved started with the Strawberry Fields (think spritz!). Every item we tried was delicious: the Hummus, Falafel, Kreplach Dumplings, Roasted Carrots (some of the best I’ve had), Latkes (seasonal but should be year-round) and their unique take on Babaganoush, everything on the menu is worth trying. Their Frena bread is also incredible – so fluffy and fresh.
I’d highly recommend!
I highly recommend trying the masabaha hummus cart. The presentation is delightful as they wheel the cart to your table and prepare the warm hummus right in front of you. The accompanying warm pita bread is absolutely to die for. The charred ctopus along with tabun roasted cabbage was perfectly prepared as well. For our main coarse we had the branzino fish, sumac chicken and ribeye stake which took some time to make but it was worth the wait.
Unfortunately, I had to give four stars due to the service not meeting expectations during this visit. I noticed that our water glasses were not properly cleaned, requiring their replacement immediately upon arrival. Our waiter forgot our drink orders, which required multiple reminders, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy that night since it was a mid-week dinner. Throughout the evening, our waiter needed several reminders for various requests.
Nonetheless, I would still choose to return to this restaurant for the outstanding food and atmosphere.
