The dinner I had delivered to my residence from this restaurant was unbelievably delicious. The rice was nice and supple and the macaroni and the barbecue was butter in my mouth. I highly recommend that place. Next time I will eat there in person. I give them 5 stars ⭐️

Was my first experience for Hawaiian BBQ but not going to be the Last one :))
Delightful culinary experience that transports you to the tropics with each bite. The flavors burst with authenticity, offering a tantalizing blend of sweet and savory that dances on your taste buds. From tender, smoky meats to vibrant, fresh ingredients, every dish is a celebration of Hawaiian cuisine. The laid-back atmosphere adds to the charm, creating the perfect setting for enjoying delicious food with friends and family. Whether you’re craving classic favorites or adventurous twists. Chicken meals are my best, and recommend strongly.

This a good L&L location. There was no line for ordering and the wait time was reasonable considering it was lunch time on a busy weekday. The garlic shrimp regular $14 was ok. They don’t put a bed of cabbage under the shrimps like the other L&L locations do. It didn’t have a lot of garlic taste to it but rather they put chopped onions with green onions in with the shrimp. Service was excellent for a counter style restaurant.

I ordered the Healthy BBQ Chicken. On their menu, it showed a Chicken breast. When I got back to my hotel, I found what looks like Chicken teriyaki. Not impressed. Too late now to take it back. Lesson learned for next time. Open your to-go bag!
*In the photo of my food, I have eaten a few pieces of chicken and rice before thinking to make a review.

I had to stop here. I’ve always wanted to try a ramen burger, but have never found one with a veggie patty. It was pretty good. I wish they would use a better veggie, but it was still enjoyable.

Aloha
Born and raised in the islands-Oahu and now living in The Bay Area it’s rare to feel da Aloha Spirit. Let me tell you, Sis Millie n Michelle Mahalo. We had an event for two days from 9-11am, Hawaiian BBQ food. Most places opens at 10/11. But Millie made it happen and delivered our food at 9:45am both days. And let me tell you, Da food was ONOLICIOUS, (So Good) just like I was back home. Mahalo Sis Millie and her Staff. You guys are AMAZING!!! I will definitely go back for future events.
We ordered: mix plate of chicken katsu n bbq beef.

This is just a reflection on my own experience. I travel often from coast to coast. I simply did not like it. I ordered the combo number 2. The service was quick, maybe too quick.
The chicken was okay but the ribs and other meat were really bad. Hard to chew, weird taste. Just not my cup of tea.
I’ve eaten Jamaican, Brazilian, Argentinian, Peruvian, Colombian, diverse European countries as well as comparison point.

My partner and I came here for lunch on the day we left San Francisco. We were staying at Grant Plaza and were only a block away. I am friends with the local L&L owners in our area, so I already knew it would be good. We had ramen burgers and gravy fries. My partner had accidentally left her skateboard as we were leaving for Bart, and she ran back and thought it was gone when we realized. The cashier had thankfully stowed it behind the counter and gave it back when I had asked about it. Thank you. 🙂

TLDR: food was very good though the portion is a bit small for the price

I ordered a mini portion of the loco moco and the portion did turn to match the name though the price seemed a little too high for the size (over $14 after tax before tip)

The food itself was good, she graciously let me get two Mac scoops instead of one Mac/one rice.

Omg this was the nastiest Hawaiian bbq the meat was chewy and tough. Very fatty, I feel disgusting. It smelled rotten there was an order coming from the meat. I would not recommend. $32 absolutely NOT worth it. Do yourself a favor and just close
