Book’s Bar and Grill, which was previously known as, Legend’s Bar and Grill is a friendly, neighborhood sports bar with a big emphasis on entertaining its customers. Book’s wants to welcome you to come see us in the Latonia section of Covington, KY. Every Thursday is Karaoke night starting 9:30pm till 2:00am. If you’re in the mood to play pool we have APA pool leagues the run Monday through Thursday. We send 2 teams with all expenses paid to Las Vegas every fall. Stop in to sign up.

There are two places by this name in the Cincinnati area. This is NOT the one with a good/interesting menu.
I got the fried mushrooms (very mid) and the BLT where the bacon was almost raw when it came out but the server eventually noticed it sitting on the napkin and checked on me.
The upsides to this place are that the portions are big and the crowds are not.

I went here to shoot pool with a friend. Turns out that the “Bock’s Billiards” part of this place is NOT open to the public. It is only available to the APA leagues that play there. So despite the name, and the pic above, if you’re looking to shoot pool without playing in APA league matches, don’t waste your time dropping by this place.

I am 24 years old I look younger though went to have a good time and was stared at by the staff and treated like garbage constantly ignored by the staff and was spoken to like I wasn’t supposed to be there keep in mind I had one drink and did nothing at all wrong in the slightest if you are younger like me try something els this place is an absolute joke just a bunch a of old people that are very unwelcoming of the younger generation by default

Legends staff is fantastic. Great people. Good food for the price for sure. Drinks are also priced well. They recently cleaned everything up and have new TVs as well. Moved to non-smoking as well

Place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Great atmosphere. Bartenders need to get their head out of each others ass and pay attention to customers. Got looked at twice, and ignored. Tried the Saratoga chips. Menue says ” fried just right “. Half of them were raw potatoes.. when I have to check the wait staff because they didn’t check me, I quit. Too young of a staff too care. Guessing the regulars are happy, that’s all they pay attention to. Don’t want to be an ass.. u asked for it

Nice place but was charged $12.20 for a beer when I gave my card. Have to wait a week to see if the charge falls off before they will refund. Beers are $5 by the way. I received one and forgot my card and picked up the next day. Still not sure why three charges were against my card when I only had one beer. I will not be returning.

Awesome food and drinks. Bartender is friendly and fun. Super clean and roomy bar with plenty of parking. Also an apa pool league host if your trying to shoot some pool on a weekly basis.
